Hi Congratulations R Mac -- What wonderful news

Well the sheep/hedge trimming started well Mrs Chalky being all modern and capable. Proudly stood back ,admired, started again and promptly cut through the cable!!!!

Mr Chalky to the rescue but gives himself an electric shock cos I hadn't unplugged it. Long suffering HE IS --- so without a curse we have done it together . Sheep though -- No

[ Well, I've cleaned the house from top to bottom, the sheets are on the line, the veggies prepped for tonight's dinner (a mini-roast with some pork tenderloin but chips, salad and ham for DGS - his favourite when he visits!). The sun is still shining and I feel up to date with everything - for now, anyway. I'm just about to put all the online knitting patterns I have downloaded into a ring binder; I am fed up sifting through sheets of paper looking for one particular one. They definitely need sorting out.

I am not having a good day and am off to the doctor in a bit. Either my thyroid meds need upping or I've got depression. I'm usually such an optimistic person even when things are c**p and it's just not like me to sit around in floods of tears.

Told you i would be back !!
Hope everyone who feels under the waether feels better soon.
Well here it is a much better day, we need some dry days now the river is very HIGH
I have been in from work about 45 mins, had a drink now going to put the washing out, clean and hoover my car cause its like a tip!!
Going to have a look in the geenhouse means i can get outside today and see what can be done there then have some lunch and think about whats for dinner and get that ready,
Oooo i also need to pop and get some compost if i have time before hubby is home from work.
Catch up with you all again in a while when this car is done!!

Thanks for all the good lucks for my interview. I was in there 2 mins, the first question he asked was ‘so which do you do, shorthand or audio.’ I replied ‘neither’ so that was the interview over with. :mad: I told the agency yesterday that I don’t do either but girl said it wouldn’t matter as long as I could type and do accounts.:mad: :mad:


Squiggley – no didn’t manage to catch up with DS while we were down, did parents, friend, DD & SIL and that was all the time gone, really need a week.

Think I will go and bake a cake now as that always puts me in a good mood.:j

Congratulations R.Mac!!!!!! (although I think some of guessed that might be the case the other week...!!!!!). Just take it easy & look after yourself, eat & drink what you have the taste for at the moment.

JannyAnnie - are you studying to deadlines at the moment? I know sometimes I get a bit down when it just feels like I want the world to stop so I can get off for a bit. Hope you get on ok at the doctor.

Youll never guess whats happened to me today-im so embarrased.My postman saw my boobies :eek: :eek: :eek: i went to moms and tots this morning and it was a water and foam morning,and as my daughter is a little monkey,we both get covered and soaked-t-shirt and bra etc.Go home to change my daughter and wash and clean her,get her settled and sort myself out.my fav t-shirt was in the ironing downstairs and i knew there was a bra there too,so i get downstairs and i look up and the postman looks up at me [me with no top on ] through the window:eek: :eek: :eek: i dived to the living room on the left and hear our gate shut.my face is all hot and i look i the mirror and im as red as a beetroot!!! ive never been so embarrased he left me a parcel too outside-i didnt want to answer the door

Ive calmed down now,and its sounding more funnier the longer time goes on :rotfl:

Hope youve all had a not so embarrasing day today!! im off to make me a cupper.

Hello all

Well, after a stressful time at the bank yesterday and even more stressful time this morning trying to do internet banking I'm giving up on these two days this week...........write them off I think. Rang the bank and the girl was very helpful but the web site still won't let me on
So, I'll do more pleasurable things and try and forget about it for today.
Easier to pop down the local branch in the morning and sort it out.
