:hello: everyone (you are too manay to list thesedays - special hello to Bubbs and other newbies. I promise you'll love it here - I do)

lovely day here today. sun is shining brightly :D

DH was so sweet and romantic yesterday. He called to check I would be in yesterday afternoon as he had some dropping off spare rugby kit for him. Turns out the rugby kit was a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and chocs for me!!!!! He really knows how to be wonderful :D It was a huge bouquet and there were two cards with it - the first was a message from DH, the second from the florist apologising that the roses were pale pink - DH had asked for white, and so she'd added extra flowers to make up for the fact she had no white ones left. That made me feel even more lovely!!!

Anyway, DH sent the flowers because I have been really sick for the last 2 weeks. So ill, I've had to give up work for a wee while. Not that it'll come as much of a surprise to you all, but it's because i'm pregnant!

I've tried to keep it to myself as long as possible - but it's very hard to hide it from my mse friends :D We are still early on, but early tests have been positive and it's starting to feel more and more real.

OS has gone out the window a little as I can't eat anything other than apples and the odd mouthful of toast and herbal tea. Anyone have any tips for morning sickness? DH has been looking after himself and living on salad. He's been really amazing though.

Phew, that feels much better out than in!!!!

R.MAC - Congratulations! I'm SO pleased for you and your DH. What a romantic chap he is, too! Please keep us up to date - we love our thread babies!! Just think what you will be able to knit now; there'll be no holding you back!

BETH - she sounds like the sister from h**l! She has treated you dreadfully and it does sound as if she is jealous. Some people are like that - they want what others have worked hard for without thinking that they themselves need to put in the effort and time. I hope you can soon put it behind you. How is your arm - I suppose it's a bit too soon to tell, isn't it?

Well, I've cleaned the house from top to bottom, the sheets are on the line, the veggies prepped for tonight's dinner (a mini-roast with some pork tenderloin but chips, salad and ham for DGS - his favourite when he visits!). The sun is still shining and I feel up to date with everything - for now, anyway. I'm just about to put all the online knitting patterns I have downloaded into a ring binder; I am fed up sifting through sheets of paper looking for one particular one. They definitely need sorting out.

Anyway, off for a quick surf before lunch.

    See you later.

    Morning Guys!

Having a pretty rubbish day but wont go on about it.

The WM is on, DW has been on and unloaded and toilet cleaned.

I remembered to get a gammon out the freezer (OH got reduced in Makros) and have put in the SC with a small bottle of Cider and a little water. I hope it turns out ok:confused: Going to have with either mash or chips and an egg...not sure yet.

OH has been doing some painting this morning in the upstairs hallway and it looks much brighter already.

I am making a HM rice pudding this afternoon and will have the oven on for about 2hrs. Is there anything quick and simple I could bung in whilst there is a free shelf? I have some walnuts...anyone know a fool-proof coffee and walnut cake recipe? Its my favourite cake.

Just about to have some lunch.

    Hugs to all.
