    Morning Everyone

((Hugs)) to Bethbee, I'm sorry to that the news wasnt better for your brother.

Sorry everything else as gone out of my head as I had to get up between writing the first bit and the rest, so have a ((hug)) if you need one.

My sister is coming to see us today so I'm looking forward to that. She has said that she will watch dd if I want to nip out so I may take advantage of that. DD is just about scabbed up but was sick in bed last night so I don't know whats gone on with her.

I need to go and have a word with next door, the owners are away leaving there 18 yr old at home. Shes a lovely girl but has problems with understanding appropriate noise levels at night.

    Have a good day everyone

:hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: Hi everyone
:hello:--- Bubbs--- Hope you are enjoying it on here-- Mr Chalky is very amused by it but I love it
:hello: :hello: - Taplady and Donny Gal

Neav- Glad things are getting sorted out and you have had a good rest

Charlies Mum--- So sorry our DDS is getting married next May and that is stressful enough already. You poor things - hope things get sorted. Planners like that you can do without.

Dazi-- Good Luck with your interview

Betheebee --so sorry about your bad news.

Well DD2 and I went to see sex and the city together -- had a brilliant evening . She is a real star and just laughed at the saucy( very saucy ) bits even though she was sitting with her Mum. DD1 could not go cos of work. But took her some flowers or was that an olive branch !!

Well the sun has left us already but must get on. I want to get the hedge trimmer out and make some shrubs look like sheep ( another picture challenge Aussie) I saw it on a programme by Monty Don so our garden should be worth watching. Sheep
    probably not.

Mr Chalky is trying to revamp the porch which looks dingy.

OS -- Porridge for breakfast and freezer sweep for rest of the day. What a challenge with the unlabelled bits I have left !!!

Congratulations to all those celebrating and gentle thoughts to all those who need one
Try and do a good deed every day.

Mioliere, I can't contact her because she left without giving a forwarding address, she did however send a very nasty letter last thursday. 2 years ago our DD2 got engaged, she wasn't invited as she can't be trusted to behave when there is drink around, it was only a small do anyway. DH and I were told that if we went near the house we rented to her she would call the Police. Hence the shock when we saw the state of it. She has always been very jealous of what DH and I have achieved, but we have worked hard for what we have. She has not worked for 32 yrs, apart from the p/t job I got her doing H/keeping at a local Inn.

Sorry if I have bored anyone with my whinging, I just find it a very sad situation.

(((hugs))) to you Beth, It must be awful for you and your husband. Unfortunately some people are jealous of what others achieve/have etc. But you have to do what is best for you and your family. At least she should (hopefully) not cause you any more upset/destruction. I think some people thrive on moaning and whinging & making excuses for why they feel the need to moan and whinge without ever trying to better themselves. (I am referring to the wayward sister).
    (((hugs))) and I'm not bored!!!

    Morning everybody :hello:

Hugs to you betheebee on all counts!
Stefejb, I'm having telly problems too - the portable in my bedroom died last night. I'll check fuses first, and if I have no luck with that, perhaps I'll see if I can get it repaired locally. If it is just dead, I am not sure I will bother replacing it - the only reason I have a bedroom TV in the first place is that when I bought a decent one for the living-room I had to put the old one somewhere.
charlies_mum I hope your DS manages to sort out the venue soon - it sounds like the last thing he needs

Left for work a bit early this morning so as to take 3 pairs of shoes to the cobbler on the way to work, only to find that the shop was shut  I wonder if he takes Wednesday off?

I am meeting up this evening with a friend from another messageboard I go on. As I have given up all hope of being frugal this week, and am subsidising myself with the fruits of last week's frugality, I am also going to treat myself to a takeaway lunch. I only need two more stamps on my loyalty card for my favourite lunch place before I get a free meal :D

    Right, back to work...

    Love Rzl xx
