I would be seriously tempted to create a dossier on the pair of them, with names, photos, address, bank branch details, evidence of friendship (ie Facebook).
I'd be seriously tempted to send it to both of them by recorded delivery and tell them to stop messing about and refund you if they don't want it to go to the cops.
Then go to the cops.
Honestly, what a pair of muppets they are.My TV is broken!

After threatening about Police and revealing that Electoral Roll shows both guys live in the same address and are facebook friends, his response has changed from this

Latest development - His response:
just checked my bank statement i hav received 2 payments of 185 pounds on the 21st.one of them was cash deposit and other was GIRO credit and its from ****** **,i didnt see dat transaction 2day as i hav received my statement yesterday.i wil giv ur bank details and dis 185 puounds to Lloyds tsb money laundering dept,cause i dont reognize dat GIRO CREDIT,after investigation its up lloyds if dey want to giv u da money back or take legal action against the sender.did u made ref...like item numb??
and its ok if u hav made a complain against me to the police,i wil be happy to work with dem.as i hav done nothing wrong. i wil welcome every step u take against me and i wil face dem with dignity.gonna report dat transaction to lloyds 2morow.
