I ran a search in 192.com for the guy whose account the money went.
The search result shows the name of the person Mr.Money Receiver and Mr.Ebay Seller as the other occupant in the same address in Glasgow. To get full details I need to pay minimum £9.95. Is it worth it to pay and get the address details.
PM me the details of the two people, I can run a search here on 192.com that won't cost you anything. Let me know what full details you require.0 -
Yay!!!!
PM sent Mac Sami.

what do you expect? We ALL start with 0 feedback, and tbh if your new you'll have 0 feedback and a recent joindate.brownbabygirl wrote: »The zero feedback and selling is a red flag for me (that together with very recent joining date). I would have thought most sellers would start out as buyers and have some sort of feedback behind them.
An honest seller may join today and list his old phone - it's dodgy, but tbh this is where feedback fails.Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0 -

It is very rare that a seller registers and immediately sells a phone with no photo and no history of having used ebay, most users test the water first by buying a little to see how it all works.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Does anyone know of a cheap or free way to search the 2007 Electoral Register?

I know they are not brilliant, but these were my justifications.
For '0' feedback, i thought everyone starts somewhere. I'll be nice to him and give him the start.
My sympathy just grows with that, you can come and buy things off me any time....you sound like a 'genuine' sellers dream!0 -
Typical!!!
The guy has responded to dispute saying
"Why do u send money to someone else's account? Send me a copy of those messages. Someone might have hacked my ebay account"
Now what!!
Shall I respond saying that "Stop lying, 192.com says both of you live in the same address, you have added each other as friends in facebook" or similar in a diplomatic language.0 -
However you respond keep it uber polite..it always looks better.
I had feared though that seller would play the hijack card.
A response might be to say that if their account has been hijacked then they need to get ebay to sort it out now using the logged ip addresses, otherwise you will await your phone as paid for through messages received via ebay.
I asked earlier but I'm not sure I saw your response, did th emessages you get about the bank transfer come via ebay, ie are they in your ebay messages or were they sent direct to you?
Also have you reported the auction itself for stating that paypal cannot be accepted?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
