  • Travelodge now have an optional insurance of £1 so that if you book Super Saver rooms & pay up front you are covered. I have not yet had to test this. Has anyone experience of getting their money back?
They are wonderful value for money.

If you plan to stay for more than one day the booking system will not let you book at the £19, dicounted rate. They charge you the normal prices.

What you have to do is book your stay one day at a time. For example, if you want to stop for 5 nights, you have to make 5 seperate bookings and in return you will get 5 different booking referrence numbers.

I have planned a 5 night stay in July so do not know what the outcome will be. May have to check-out then re check-in, maybe into a different room.

We've booked like this previously and no one even mentioned moving rooms. ;)

    Hi
If its any help I did the same as you over the last xmas break, but Id got it on 2 rms, once I checked in I explained to the lady on the desk, they put a note on to say we were staying, the other lady who was on rm duty, they were over the moon, as they didnt have to keep changing the sheets.

We were able to keep the same room on.
The other thing I did was as the 1st day we were arriving at ngt time, rang them to say yes we are coming, (think that did help as well-)

    have a nice break xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

  • Hi, Im a new poster on this site. I emailed a travelLodge in Dublin asking why I couldn't book for £19 as it kept charging me 99Euro and they said this offer is not on over the summer and that prices differ from midweek to weekend. This is the email I sent and the reply I got.
    Any ideas?
    .....................................................................

Hi, We are thinking of having a weekend or midweek break in Dublin traveling from Wirral, Merseyside.

I have seen the adverts for the promotion "£19 per room" but everytime I try to book it Charges 99Euro.

Is this offer not on yet or does it not include this hotel? Also does the offer count on weekends too or is this just a midweek promotion.

Thanks for your help, look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Dear Sir,

Unfortunately that promotion is not available during the summer time. We have different prices during the midweek and weekends so if you could give us the dates we will be able to check the best prices for you.

Wonderful, we stayed in London (Farringdon I think it was) for a couple of nights 18 mths ago with these saver rooms, the rooms and the hotel were brilliant, the only complaint we had was that we accidentally left some cds and keys in the drawer and when we phoned the hotel when we got home they'd already mysteriously disappeared (only the cleaners had been in). We did get compensation though.

Shall definitely be doing this again as we want to go at the end of August.
