I usually only buy or ask for games at Christmas or for my birthday so nope it won't be (unless my DVD player dies, as I'm going to replace it with a PS3 from my savings).

There's gotta be a way to stop the guilt.

stop feeling guilty for spending your money, yes your money, not a credit card company's! this is the point to working - you are supposed to get to enjoy some of it.

I'm so useless at it, I spend so much of my money on other people, my "gift" spends are massive. Maybe I'll set up a nice regular amount to charity and then can feel less guilty about my spends?

Also today, had a good news the £500 I was owed got paid, but they've taxed me about £100  So I'll have to wait till way into next year to get that back, boo.

Oh and got my new Tax Credit award.... apparently I owe them £1700. Pffffffffffft, yeah right, so phoned them and as expected the woman I spoke to before wasn't listening to me (I suspected this when I'd called) so it should all be sorted in a couple of week.

Have you stopped doing the volunteer work Gemmzie? that was helping people too and you help people on here so could you please give yourself permission to live a bit?

Hope you get the tax credit thing sorted soon - nightmare!

Yeah at the moment. I was struggling to work the 16 hours and then the volunteer/work boundaries got blurred and I left. Hoping to have something set up in the New Year though so waiting to hear.
