I did. They just wanted confirmation of something - gives me another week or so to get other job to cough up!

I've got the £500 sorted, it's on it's way soon. So I need to work out how much I need in each pot to cover three months (July/Aug/Sep) and whether I can cover my savings, otherwise I'll need a re-think.

More good news, I have nearly £65 extra to come from work because I haven't taken any holiday yet this year :j Will put that straight away for car tax, which is next due in December - then I know I'm covered.

I also topped up my bills account yesterday with the money from my health insurance payout, so I have enough in there for July - October's bills before I need to find more money!

Next to tackle....car insurance and Christmas/Birthday presents

Argh, I've been paid wrong! I'm about £20 down on my normal wages and missing another £20 overtime
    They are so useless...

They've been told about the missing wages although I forgot to collect my payslip today, doh. Will they send it to me? But apparently they'll be credited tomorrow so that's handy

Gem where I last worked they didnt give me my wage slip so I sent in a letter with a stamped addressed envelope for them to return it to me. They should send it out to you though but if you dont get it in about 2 weeks I would send in a sae :) glad to see you are getting paid the missing pay :D

Still no wage slip, still no word about the odd shift, still no money from anyone

And typically, I've now found the perfect car at an ideal price  :(

  • Gem can you phone them about the wage slip and money, or even go in and see them. Aww sorry to hear about the car, can you not sell the one you have quick enough?
