    Evening all,

Thank you to everyone who posted piccies - it's great to be able to faces to the names!

BrightonBelle - you look much younger in your after pic - well done on your fab loss! You look very similar to what I had imagined :D

It's a 2 kilo loss for me this week - woo hoo! Now that the evil virus is gone I'm back on the bandwagon! :j

I know you guys hear a lot about my son and our escapades, so my action pic is of us both :D Not sure the padded clothes and layers are a good look for a weight loss forum :rotfl: so I might post up something else another day!

[now removed - thanks for comments :)]

Hi MissyG and Peke - I did the race for life last year in about 35 minutes but have no idea how I did it! I think on the day adrenalin kicks in and you do perform better than you ever have previously.
I find it an emotionally difficult thing to do as I lost my 2 best friends to cancer, one 6 years ago and one last year so I do it for them and that seems to get me round the course in double quick time - maybe last year they were both helping!!

You can do it in 45 at a fast walk pace.

I am always amazed on the treadmill that running doesn't make you go that much faster over a mile than a fast walk.

    Good losses this week.

    morning peeps

some nice pictures in there thanks for sharing :D

cant remember who now (sorry) but someone said they were getting addicted to the gym after a week :) i did that too. i gave up smoking at the same time i joined and went to the gym instead of buying cigs. worked a treat for the first three months, then i started smoking again and stopped going in the gym itself but kept up my classes. (step aerobics plus toning twice week, aqua aerobics twice week, pilates once a week and spinning once a week). now ill have the odd session on the treadmill/bike/cross trainer on top of classes but i bring a book because i get bored.

my friend who joined at the same time as me manages to go once or twice a week if she goes straight form school, if she goes home first she ends up not bothering now the novelty has worn off.

a warning though, with doing so much exercise my weight according tot he scales went up by over a stone and has only now started to come down again, BUT i have been loosing inches and my new at xmas swimsuit shorts have got to stop being worn for aqua.

if ive done my maths right i have a 3 and 1/2 lb loss this week (14lb in a stone right?) which im surprised at given last nights "business dinner" with my sister which was delicious if laden with calories. if it hadnt been the same this moring i had intended to use yesterday mornings weigh in lol

and ok ill play, these were taken in kenya feb/march 2007, i was only a stone or two heavier than i like to be but well within normal limits, fraid i dont have any more recent pics as i havent been on holiday again (and im 4 stone heavier now than i was then)

    Evening all,

    Your opinions please.......

I've had an idea - don't shoot me down if you hate it - it's just a suggestion!

I was thinking about how difficult it can be to keep track of everyone(especially since the group has become so large!)

.....so as a welcome guide to new members (and as a reminder to us regulars!) it might be nice to have a little members homepage for LW21 - it could have a list of members with a profile detailing eating plans, if any (e.g. weight watchers/Aitkens), target weight (optional of course), plus other info ppl want to share (e.g. training for race for life etc). Plus - if you guys wanted to - it could have a little profile pic!

    What do you think?

    Hi all,

Well done to all losers and maintainers.

Got my WI tonight, don't know how I will do as I haven't been that good.

Still the good news is I was right, my thyroid is playing up and she has upped the dose of thyroxine, so maybe, just maybe that will make a difference although I have only upped it since last Friday.

Anyhoo we will see what we will see.

Good luck to anyone else with their WI's today.

Ive taken some before shots. I might take one fully clothed cos i thought i would try on my collection of bikinis and tankinis to fully see my weight loss if it ever happens, but when that day finally comes that i can show my befores and afters, i know i'll be too chicken to post them! Although by the time i get to it everyone here will be gone!!

your homepage idea sounds good to me.

B-belle WOW!!!! You lost 15 years and some chins!! That's great, you look so fab.

Yes missy, maybe too much padding - can you ski in a bikini next time please for me, Mark and the Suggster

KPC. Nice derriere ;) If you ARE gonna turn around and wave, put that blimmin bow and arrow down though - I don't want an arrow sucker stuck to my head. Oh, and "PAH!" at being a lefty :)

Purplecatlover - I think you must be the baby of the group, or one of them anyway. Really nice pics, and I'm sooo glad I'm not the only one who didn't have their shorts ironed for the pic. :D

OK then, if we're doing action shots, here's mine

There were other things I was gonna say, but.... so many pages lol

Well done to all the losers, better luck next time to the rest of us.

PS Pet... you MUST have heard of the National Lottery? A little thing that's been running for nearly 14 years now....?
