  • Looking for photos of me to post and I realise that I don't have any:eek:, and there's a serious lack of pics of me with my kids, I'll have to remedy that this summer I think, anyway if it works my old myspace pics are on the link. Taken just over a year ago and I am bigger now by about a stone, but not for long :D

Edit, my pic is my avvy just for a while!

PLG that is a very interesting idea! Maybe we should get everyone facebooking and do a facebook group? not sure how we'd do it on here. I think something where we write each others profiles might be interesting too!

thanks for the kind words on my pic! Depending on how they look i might post one from the fancy dress party at tewkesbury this year. If anyone is in the area on 12 and 13 July you should come down - it's like glastonbury with a vaguely historical theme - lots and lots of interesting market stalls and a huuuuuge battle at which there is a very real chance you'll see someone killed. which, we all know, is what people come to a re-enactment to see.

I am really pleased with the weight loss so I need to think quite hard about what to do for the future. I'll see at the end of the month. At the moment an average day is cereal for lunch and tea and then a proper meal in the evening with maybe 2 portions of fruit and veg in it. So although the numbers stack up and I'm (currently) losing weight, I don't feel like it's a healthy diet. I think that you are right BBelle - it's easy to get into the habit of really going for it with the free food on sw which is where I was going wrong. What scares me with calorie counting is how easy it would be to slip into dangerous habits - feeling hungry but thinking that I don't want to eat because so far today the numbers are really low . . . . that sort of thing.

cool pic missyg! and purplecat. do you like long haul type hols then? Cool action pic ajax! looking very macho

anyone fancy doing another swap box in the next couple of months? (I'm still using my mug bailsxx)

    Thanks katiepoppycat,

A facebook group would work - however I'd worry that it would move the conversation away from this forum(?)

Facebook group sounds the best way to go for that homepage idea. Can make a private group so that we can keep the riff raff out. Then we can do whatever in it.

Enjoying nosing at all your pics - Brighton Belle you look fab!!

Congrats to the losers ( victory - 5lbs!!! - excellent) and STS'rs :T, and big hugs to the gainers :grouphug:

To report, its another 1 lb loss this week for me. My body appears to be adopting the slowly slowly approach. It does not help that I am on the June GC thread and am now making fresh bread every day - its dangerous stuff!

    Afternoon you lovely people!

In a good mood at Tagz Towers! I have lost 2lbs! Not a huge amount but at least it's going in the right direction. My friend led her first arobics class last night for he first time in 13 years and I was front of class being the lead for the others. All the others were mums from the school who happen to be our good friends so we had a REALLY good giggle during the class! It was a good workout though!

Cross your fingers for my eldest will you? He's got his first A level English exam today!!

    Great photos Missy and PurpleCatLover!

i dont think it would pinklipgloss. Much easier on here, bigger ect.

In the group it would have a wall, and also with facebook it would be peoples real names, so it will be hard to work out who some of you are by that.
