Well done tagz, that's must have felt very special and thrilling for you. The three mile run must have been almost as good ;) :T:T

At work here too erlqueen, but can't stand the thought of staying until 7. Might have to nick off early to watch a bit of footy

Missy gotta keep it semi sensible with the temperature, it's alright for you skinny folk but some uf us have got to carry an almost 16 stone frame and 14 clubs around a golf course tomorrow. 73F will do just fine, thanks ;)

Sports birds generally get the nod over movie stars for me too (see left) but would it surprise anyone if I said I'm not too fussy? :D

Tagz you are a superstar!!! :D Did that happen this morning? :T :T :T

May I ask how long it took you (or how many sessions) to get from approx 50% walking/50% running, up to the full run? I would like to be able to do what you've done and seeing your post motivates me even more, so thank you!

Another sports bra has arrived. I think (hope) this is the last one :rotfl: Unless it's amazing it's going back and I'll be ordering two more of the "winning" bra :p then I'm sorted!

True Ajax. Though let's not forget you would have an advantage in colder weather so I'd best not hear you complaining when it goes below my comfort level at the other end of the scale. About minus 15°C. That OK? :D

Have fun tomorrow - don't forget the sun scream & hat too!

I think even I prefer sports birds over movie stars :rotfl:

Well against all the odds and after the "run up and down the stairs several times" test, the new sports bra is a KEEPER! :j Where's my new Nike gear, I want to get on the trampoline and celebrate!

I'll try not to spend too much time thinking about your bit in small text or I won't be able to concentrate on work.

minus 15C??? Pfffft!!!! I whinge for England when it gets down to about 5C, really can't be done with the cold.

So what are you gonna do now? Don't you effectively now have 2 different brands of 'winning' sports bra?

I'm touched that you're keeping score on the sports bra front... ;):D (No don't rearrange the words in that sentence).

Yes, two winners, so I'll manage on two sports bras for a couple of weeks, and once I'm used to them I'll decide which extra(s) to buy. Although I'm so relieved to have found TWO that do the job, I'm quite tempted to order another one of both right now in case they start going out of stock

    Right. Back to holiday planning!

    Hi Missy

Yes I did it this moring. I started doing the 50/50 bit just after Christmas. I did though go through a couple of illnesses in that time which set me back a bit and I tried to avoid the rainy days (but my two friends did keep pestering). To tell you the truth I don't think I could have done any running without my mates. They really encourage me but also keep an eye on me to make sure I'm ok. I did go a bit mad this morning and was quite dizzy afterwards but I wanted to push myself. I made a huge progression in the last month and a half. Last week I only managed two miles! I think using the crosstrainer regularly has helped.

Me motivate you? I think the other way round Missy! I love how you try so many different things and manage to do so much great stuff with your son. You are well cool!happy-smiley-8837.gif
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Aha, just the victory I was hoping would turn up :)

As our resident expert on both Spain and soups, do you know of any cold soups other than the traditional gazpacho that would be good on hot summer days? Anything been passed down through generations of victorys?
