Lois Thank you very much for posting the chart :) Its always nice to see something on paper (or screen) to keep me motivated :)

funkyfunkymonkey The food diary is going really well, at least I can see what I'm eating, what I'm meant to be eating, etc. But so far so good, just need to get into the swing of regular exercise.

Lois - great job on the chart - sorry I missed the chart this week but I STS - I am a little disappointed but have had a few social things and let the diary slip a bit so it is a wake up call :o

Ajax- the web page looks great and all the suggestions seem really positive.

Missyg - your running puts me to shame but in my own way I am getting there! At 18 stone I am quite pleased that I have reduced my mile on the treadmill from just under 15 minutes to 14mins 12 seconds:j

Pinklipgloss - I am definitely not a natural born runner but I am getting there with determination!!:T . This year I will be doing my 5th race for life and am hoping to run most of it!!

Efrieze - your before and after pictures are amazing - and your baby is gorgeous.

Hubby and I are going to Munster in Germany tomorrow for a long weekend.

It is a group thing - we host them one year and they host us the next. It is an excuse to drink, eat and be merry, but I am going to do my best to stay accountable as far as possible!!

Hope everyone is happy with their losses ( some are awesome :T ), and those who have sts or gained (like me:o ) - let's pick ourselves up and remind ourselves why we are doing this and tomorrow is a new day!!:A :A

I tried to do a crab the other morning, I managed to get my butt off the ground by about 6 inches, but I could not get my head off the ground - I don't seem to have enough strength in my arms - or maybe I've just not got the right technique.

But I am going to persevere with this - a bit of a personal challenge :rotfl:

perhaps you could take an 'action shot' pic of you doing the crab FFM when you acheive it, I am sure we would all love it LOL(and I will not attempt anything as daring as a crab when i can't even do a push up!!!)

Thanks for the chart Lois, I will be brave and weigh myself soon, I promise!

Talking of the cambridge diet my friend is starting it on Monday, but she is eating for england beforehand, I am not sure that is the right frame of mind to start anything as drastic as that - still I will watch and see how she gets on.

    Night all, take care

FFM - I've been doing some playing around with numbers on the cal intake v weight loss thing :) It isn't very encouraging :(

Here are my best losses (everything over a 1lb loss) - nearly all of them are from a sub 1200/average week.

    Date.......cals.loss
    24/03/2008 1172 5.25
    03/03/2008 1144 3.25
    09/06/2008 1199 3.00
    10/12/2007 1165 2.50
    07/01/2008 1053 2.25
    14/01/2008 1165 2.25
    21/04/2008 1130 1.75
    28/04/2008 1156 1.75
    31/12/2007 1190 1.50
    04/02/2008 1265 1.25
    07/04/2008 1420 1.25

Here are my 'worst' losses (everything 1lb and under) - nearly all of them are when I have upped the cals over 1300/day

    Date.......cals.loss
    11/02/2008 1509 1.00
    17/12/2007 1345 0.75
    03/12/2007 1519 0.75
    19/05/2008 1400 0.50
    26/05/2008 1400 0.50
    05/05/2008 1185 0.25
    24/12/2007 1257 0.25

So it does seem my weight loss slows right down generally when I up the cals - and improves the more I cut back.

I haven't included gains, but just to complicate matters I have gained on anything between 1260-1550/day average

Maybe I should try replicating the 11/02 week as that was a decent loss (1lb) on not bad cals, 1509 :) I can see from my food diary I even had some Pringles and sweets that week :rotfl:

    Hi all,

just whizzing by for tonight but will stop by for a bit longer tomorrow!

Well done everyone on your losses, I'm finally back to joining you and can kick off this next week with a
    1lb loss (at last)
Ajax the page looks great can't wait to see the finished product when it includes everyone so we can all have a bit more of a nose.
I'm off to see my sis in Holland at the weekend so will be on a strict veggie diet, which won't bother me in the slightest and all food will be at set times as she is a nun and I'll have to follow their timetable. I'm planning to borrow her bike and cycle into the village which apparently is about 25 mins each way so here's hoping in advance for a loss next week too!
    Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j

At least no one that 'knows me' would recognise me :rotfl:
