Morning everyone!
Mmm that stew sounds lovely - I will have to take note of some of the recipes on these threads and get my saucepan out! I always do better with a diet when I spend more time cooking things from scratch!
I am going to just cut down, rather than actually following WW or SW etc.. could someone tell me if you think this is a good intake for breakfast/lunch (dinner is tbc!)
Breakfast - Cornflakes and skimmed milk (no sugar, but I miss it a bit)
Lunch - 2x Sandwiches with ham, salad and some potato salad on
Snacks - Banana and orange
Also, does anyone use the free Tesco tracker for food intake? It seems quite good because you can search for anything on the main supermarkets shelves. I tried having a go last night but my internet was playing up a bit!Proud meowmy of four fuzzy cats0 -

wow - this new thread has really taken off!
Anic - thank you so much for your very kind offer. I checked out the customs regulations a few years back (I had an evil plan of getting my mum to post me supplies of Irn Bru) however unfortunately customs don't allow you to send liquids here :-( I even got my mum to ring them personally to enquire if it was okay if the seal was not broken - LOL!
Welcome to all the new members - and best of luck with your new healthy eating/exercise plans!
Marion you are looking fanatastic! Those photos don't look like the same person - what a difference! Well done on being brave enough to share them with everyone. I hope to be able to do the same in the future - once I lose more weight.
Bright-Idea - best of luck with your son - I hope all goes well today.
Starlight thank you so much for sharing your story - it's truely inspiring."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -

x-raph:j :j another great loss, wasting away yet?:j
I keep thinking about my next target, and to be 12 stone by Christmas sounds really odd!! I don't think I've EVER been 12 stone!! Not even thru school!
I've already decided that if I reach this target I am not going to hold back at xmas, I'm going to stuff my face if I so wish, and I'm not going to care if I put on a whole stone!:D Cos even if jump back up to 13 stone, it's still the lightest I've been in forever!x-raph one year when I WENT to spain on hol, my inner legs rubbed together so much I had what OH called 'nappy rash':rotfl: :rotfl: it was red raw and impossibly sore, don't miss that now so understand what you mean;)
I've not worn skirts for about 8 years, as I always had to wear shorts underneath to stop the red soreness. I'd like to wear a skirt soon, thou I think my leg tattoo would spoil the effect :rotfl: maybe something long and floaty for next summer??
I've never been a 'girly' girl, but I'm starting to think now it may just be an excuse I've developed to explain the constant jeans & baggy t-shirts.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Eat ok at home - just lots of rubbish in the office
so need to eat healthy there and do lots of exercise and hopefully it'll come off with some motivation.
Hiya fredsnail,
If you like 'picking' at food in the office, how about bringing in some carrot sticks? I sometime nip out and grab a couple with a cup of tea & it keeps me going until my lunch. Bananas are good too, quick to scoff with a cuppa.
Things I usually take into work are...salads with cous-cous or tuna, bowl of musli or rivita with tuna. Do you have a microwave at work? I sometimes take in a jacket potato & beans or tuna, or a tin of soup.
We also have a toaster at work, so I sometimes have beans on toast.
I also have 2 or 3 pieces of fruit too.
