Not sure about the other nominations, but I would like to nominate quoia for her great work with the daily newspaper thread, an example here:

I don't know if she has won this symbolic prize before, but she does a wonderful job starting the daily thread with lots of interesting information at around midnight. When she went on holiday last week the info on offers was less complete and not so well organized. This is really helpful since we all know which paper to buy and which offers are worthwhile.

    :hello:

I would like to nominate moneymabel for this prize for her thread:

Its a great thread, that has a few members who really try and rally round with support and ideas to help cut debts. People with differing amounts of debt, but trying to be debt free by December 2008. Also, she is going to turn it into a savings thread for those who are debt free next year. :T

I would like to nominate whotton.

A new poster to the site, whotton is only sixteen but due to a difficult family situation lives on his own. However, his efforts to take positive steps forward, continue in education and improve his future employability through voluntary work, should be an inspiration to all of us, young and old.

  • I'd like to nominate lka200 for her post on re-homing former battery hens ...
Not only is it useful to folk like me - a potential new hen-keeper, with the welcome prospect of having a supply of fresh free-range eggs for my family ... but the thread also alerts people to the plight of unwanted ex-battery hens.

I also would like to nominate Ika200 for her Battery Hen thread. She has inspired me to home some 'chickens in need' and has also given me loads of advice on the subject x

I would like to nominate Weezl74 for her amazing feed 2 people healthily for £120 for 3 months! I have learnt a huge amount and been amazed at her attention to detail in researching the nutrients her and her husband need and providing these at a ridiculously small amount of money!

p.s. she has only 12p left til the end of the month!
