I would love for the £50 to be given to Jill aka livermumof2 on behalf of all the people on the Boots thread. It is one very sincere community of people who are really sharing Jill's grief. Pages and pages of condolences.
Thanks to Pollsdolls for originally posting and to nettienoo70 for offering to handle all the collections from everyone.

    Again, seconded.

Lovely community of posters who help out their fellow MSE'ers whether regular contributers to the thread or not; all new posters are welcomed; all questions (however often they've been asked before!) answered where possible; glitches and vouchers shared without gain in mind; a friendly, compassionate and truly caring 'place' to be!

It would be lovely to be able to add the £50 prize to Jill's collection after the sad news about baby Thomas.

I would like to nominate this - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=997181

The reason being that a long standing member of the thread - Livermumof2 (AKA Jill) has tragically lost her Baby boy Thomas this Wednesday Morning to Meningitis. Thomas was just 8 months old.:A
The main reason for nominating this is to highlight the support and kindness of everyone who posts here as we are now raising money to give to Livermumof2 to help her in any way we can. It is such a great thing to see so many people who do NOT know each other personally coming together to help someone in their time of need and that is why it should be post of the month. Also the prize of £50 would be given to the collection for Jill.

I agree to the nomination also. The generousity and kindness of those that have posted is truly amazing. I never thought that complete strangers would be so generous!:T
    :A Carpe Diem:A

 WINS = Nothing...I never seem to win anything!:roll eyes:

I also nominate this thread:- http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=997181

On there, people are so caring and wonderful.. Even if they don't know one another, they just strive to help. Each and everyone of them are special, and would give anything to anyone just to help out.

Obviously, its been mentioned about Jill and baby Thomas, and everyone (The 'older' boosters, and the newly joined) have sent so many condolences. And loads of amazing people are donating.. even though they don't know Jill, who are just really genuine unselfish people. Every single person on there MAKES the thread, they are the reason the thread's still there and make it a very enjoyable/lovely/amazing/wonderful.. (the list could go on) place to be.

Also.. when nothing so terrible as this has happened, and its a ''normal'' day in the bootsing world, they are there for one another, working out ''glitchs'', ways to save EACH OTHER money, not thinking of just themselves. I have heard many of times.. people offering to help in any way they can, leaving some glitchs behind in the shops so others can benefit from it aswell (even though sometimes you could get it for free). Theres so many massive loving hearts on there :)

Also, not forgetting crazyposhgal.. who works really hard to keep updating the thread (even though she doesn't have that much time to do it), shes helps in anyway possible.. And no-one could do a better job at it than her.. A very very very amazing person :D.

Sorry for ''rambling'' on abit too much..

    Xx

for showing that human kindness and genuine, heartfelt compassion is still out there in abundance!

Even before this tragedy, Jill was coping with her mum fighting cancer and yet still staying strong, cheerful and helpful to all.

The outpouring of support on the above thread is just totally humbling and serves to put everyday problems back into perspective.

    RIP baby Thomas :A
