My friend started the lighter life diet 2 weeks ago and has lost 1 stone already. I want to start the diet, I have looked on ebay to but lighter life packages, they are very expensive! I did a google search for lighter life for sale online and this forum came up, yet, I can not find the person selling the lighter life packages!
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THIS PERSON IS OR WHERE I CAN BUY LIGHTER LIFE, WITH OUT HAVING TO GO TO THE WEEKLY CLASSES! AND NOT GET RIPPED OFF BEING CHARGED PREMIUM PRICES!!!!!
Thank you inadvance for your help!0 -
My friend is a lighter life counsellor, and it's £66 a week for the packs and the counselling. They wont give you the food packs without the counselling. If you just want the food packs like someone has already mentioned, the cambridge diet is a lot cheaper but you don't get the same counselling:p
If you want a quick fox it's great, but the lighter life thing is about addressing why you are overweight , looking at more deeper psychological issues etc:p

Most people say Lighter Life is the same as the Cambrdige Sole Source diet but without the weekly meetings and much cheaper.
You need to find a Lighter Life councellor in your area as no-one can sell you the food packets without consultation.
Also did you realise by typing in capitals it deems you are shouting which isn't very nice especially when you are asking a question and would like a helpful answer.0 -

My fiancee is about to start the lighter life diet. I don't think she's obese, she's just got a bit of weight on her, same as me. I think we could both do with loosing about a stone or two max.
I won't do this kind of diet - it sounds irresponsible and i'd rather try to control my calories and increase my activity
Any ideas on how I can help/cope with my partner being on this diet?0 -

You will need to be very supportive, and preferably move out until she reaches goal weight:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

She's probably just 3 stone overweight, not that I believe BMI is a good measurement of what weight you should be.
I'm an !!!! when i've got low sugar or I know i'm not going to get a decent dinner. I'm out the house from 7.30am - 7pm, 5 days a week - i need some decent man food. I know if my dinners start becoming bad, i'll start snacking.
She'll also be in a terrible mood when she hits ketosis0 -

No, I did not realise this, Where did you find this out? I feel as if I'm back in school being reprimanded by the teacher for being naughty!
I innocently thought that if I put it in capitals it would stand out and readers might spot it better. I have just joined, and don't know how to put an 'enquiry' or a 'post' in and thought I would just reply someone else's posting. By writing or 'quoting' what you have written YOU come across as being a precocious spoilt brat, I wonder how old you are? You must be rather young!0 -
Let me just say, before I start that I am a Cambridge Counsellor.
Each CDC (Cambridge Diet counsellor) is independant and can charge a slightly different amount but on average it is £36 per week if you are doing sole source with 3 packs a day. To do the Sole Source version of the diet you must be at least 1st above BMI of 25, there are other versions with a mixture of CD & conventional food.
CD is a 100% nutritionally complete diet, which is ideal for someone who wants to lose a lot of weight where a lot of conventional diets would take too long. Personally I became a counsellor after losing 5 1/2st - so I know it works.
You have to see a local counsellor & a good CDC will weigh you, measure you & spend time with you taking you through your diet plan.
Good Luck to anyone who needs to lose weight, however you decide to do it.

Let me say that I am a Herbalife Independant Distributor. This is meal replacement with one healthy main meal & active lifestyle, we have a fantastic Medical advisory board & are nutritional sponsors to LA Galaxy & lots more. This is ideal for people who want to lose weight, gain weight & feel fantastic or supplement sports nutrition.
I would say that fast weight loss is not the way to go, but I have to pat anyone on the back who wants to lose weight, whichever way you decide to go.
Good luck to you all
