Oh good. I've got a busy day lying in the sun, a cloud came over so I've came in to see how this thread was going on!

I'm sure you'd find my job of sunbathing and checking all the work I've delegated to freelancers very challenging!

I get many successes in shops when things go wrong, why do some people find it so hard to get a refund? I don't know, they shout Trading Standards, have to call in the press (I'm amazed someone hasn't suggested that yet on here!). It's easy, just act and behave normally. Don't try turning your life into a soap opera!

    Right suns coming out again!

    Bye!

Then move on! going to the EHO will result in a visit to asda , asda no doubt will have their house in order, nothing will come of it.

If they had their "house in order", how would a used plaster end up in one of their food products?

If you imagine how many products are produced by a supermarket the size of Asda, there are bound to be the odd slip-up here and there - it doesn't mean that they are consistently providing food containing plasters. The fact that it was a blue plaster suggests that they are already adhering to certain health and safety standards, and if you didn't eat the thing or suffer any ill effects from it then I wouldn't have thought there would be much 'liability' to admit. I think the poster who suggested you return the rolls with the plaster, ask them to make some kind of record of the incident and get tour money back is right.

What would you like to see as a result of your complaint?

They don't produce most of their own foods.

I didn't say they did, just that the amount of food produced by Asda is huge.
