We had a rep in the other day as there is one opening soon in Milton Keynes. Along with the blanket offer to all Local Government employees (us) the promotion included a £10 voucher (for the new store) when you join up. They could also come and do a mass enrolment in the workplace meaning you would not have to show any i.d.0

The tassimos price is what it is with no offers so you will be able to get it at the price i mentioned;) if going for it register online with tassimo and they send you vouchers for 2 packs then go find where there doing the pods 4 for £10 then hand over the voucher = £3.42 for 4 packs:j the capachino is yummy, and the rest are good too, great to come in and no having to wait for the kettle to boil. The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Interesting Rosie. I live in MK, and qualify as a Local Govt employee (I work in a school)... but I'm already a member. I wonder if they'll honour a voucher for me?! :rotfl:(I wish!). I wonder if they'll be doing promotions in any of my family's workplaces...?
Are they offering any voucher booklets through the rep??
One thing I have noticed (I've been a Costco member for 5 years now), is that when it comes to renewal, they don't actually ask for proof of your employment again. In the last 5 years I've worked for a large international bank, for a small solicitors (not as a solicitor so technically I wasn't eligible for membership), and now I work in a school... so I'm 're-eligible' again. I've never changed my work details and just renewed by post every time :rolleyes:0 -
some times costco do the buy 4 tyres pay for 3 deal, anyone aware if this is going to happen again soon - i will be shortly needing a set and the ones i need are approx £140 each!!! so this offer would be a great money saverCompo challange:Amount won £0 Need to win £2400

We've also been members for a long long time and for the first time ever this year we were asked to show a recent utility bill for the company when we renewed our annual membership at the till. It has been so long since we first became members and there have been a few address changes and now a company name change - will have to straighten it out with them but it does make a mockery of their membership doesn't it?0 -
I've been an individual Costco customer for ages and have been very impressed with their service and returns policy. One thing I don't understand, though, is how Trade customers make money on the stuff they buy to resell. The discounts, though good for normal consumers, don't seem high enough to make a profit on - do Trade people get a further discount somehow?0

Most of the trade I have seen there are caterers who wouldn't sell the stuff on directly as it is. Never seen corner shop owner types there, I reckon they get stuff direct from distributors.0
