Having a browse with my lunch! Tasty!
Still waiting for friend, got a text at 1pm to say she was on the M4 and had just stopped for coffee, bit concerned cos she left at 10am, and it usually takes me 2.5hrs door to door! It's almost all motorway, hope she isn't doing 20 in the slow lane, she'll be driving everyone mad, wonder if I should look on the news for details of tailbacks caused by a silver micro! Apologies if anyone gets stuck behind her or has rellies en route who do!
Oh well, gave us plenty of time to make sure the house was tidy, I can't believe how many piles of clothes there were everywhere, I know i see them everyday, but somehow I've managed not to count them until today, lol!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Afternoon all
So far today I've done 4 loads of washing & they are drying nicely on the line, DW's been on & unloaded. Been to DD's to look after fractious, teething DGD so DD could get on with organising DGS birthday party, he's 4 next week. Had an hour long phone call from a friend who's trying to sell her house & having problems. Walked the dog for an hour & bought a leg of lamb, new pots & broccoli for lunch tomorrow. I'm now going to put my feet up for 10 mins with a cuppa.
Hugs Hester

Argh
DD hot, itchy and grumpy.
DH grumpy because fed up of dd whinging and hes required to actually do something as I've got a small child that just wants to be held or sit on me. Apparently this is all my fault and I'm getting the silent treatment.
Hope everybody else is having a better day.Sorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Afternoon everyone
hope youare all having a good day, beth, hope your op went well.
I've not had a good day so far, my Grandma's been taken into hospital - she's fine now, but they are going to keep her in until Tuesday to have a CT scan. I hate being so far away from my family - I never find out what's going on until days after it happenscel x

Hello everybody :hello: and to all those who need them :grouphug:
Well, woken up at 7.00 this morning by MIL ringing to tell us that Uncle !!!!!! in Ireland passed away I the early hours. He's not been well for ages and it was kind of expected but everyone is still shattered - Mr Rage even had a weep (tres unusual but he explained it by saying it's probably because he isn't feeling well  ). Needless to say this has caused logsitical nightmares. Mr Rage has left today as the funeral is on Monday in Ireland - complete with bad leg and antibiotics to go up to Glasgow to look after his Dad who isn't really fit enough to travel (COPD and the memory of a goldfish). BIL is going with MIL to Ireland for the funeral - Mr Rage has taken his black wool jacket and black tie as the last funeral BIL went to he turned up in a green fleece - that didn't go down very well (and they're on way more money than us so why he hasn't got a "funeral" outfit is beyond me). It's also FIL's birthday tomorrow so of course they're all going out for a meal (because nobody is ever bothered to do their own parties in that family). My taking time off work to go is simply not an option as (a) I'm the only person in my office and (b) I'm already on a bit of a sticky wicket absence wise due to my on-going problems as it is. Anyway, tomorrow as well as FIL's birthday is my late Mum's. They have the same DOB so my Mum would be 79 - all I can think is that it's 11 birthdays she hasn't had. Been up to the cemetry today with flowers as well as getting a big bunch to put in the vase she "bought" us for our wedding (I actually saved a load of vouchers that I found in her dressing table after she died from M&S and when we got married I bought something for the house with them so she had given us a present). I got very upset yesterday and then again today at the cemetry and I can't really work out why - apart from the obvious..... It's 12 years since she went this year but for some reason this year is very upsetting. Possibly because we've got so much going on re IVF and everything.
Apart from that nothing exciting - stocked up the freezer with mince from the butchers, went and spoke to the parrot in the petshop - he likes me and I am one of the few people he lets tickle him and then screams when I leave. However no mealworms so the birdies will have to make do with what they get rather than being spoled rotten as normal! Also finally got the recycling collected - we've been missed out the last two times so I was ready to run after them with the box this time. Fortunately I didn't have to treat the road to that particular view!!! :rotfl: Anyway, I plan to do nothing OS tonight. I shall watch TV, possibly have a small cider or one of the bottle of wine minis and veg out:D . We did collect my e-bay winnings though - may have slightly overdone it with the christmas jigsaws:o . Also got a china set and I have to say it is the most beautiful thing I have seen for a long time - bone china daffodils. Well, I was intending to re-arrange my china cabinet. I may very well use it to have afternoon tea tomorrow as a treat!!But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -
