    Morning all

off in a bit for a lunch date - decided to be domestic goddess and bring them all co!!!! ice but have had a disaster.
I think you'll find the word you meant to type was "coconut" - I'm sure I can guess what you typed instead :rotfl:

Hmmm, interesting... VickyA has a lunch date. Stefejb has a lunch date. As it happens, I too have a lunch date :D;)

Prior to that I'm slobbing in front of Saturday Kitchen as per usual... I have discovered that the best way of making sure I wake up at a reasonable hour on a Saturday is to sleep with the window open, as the block of flats behind mine has a visit from the bin lorry at about 8am on a Saturday morning

Need to buy a "welcome to your new house" card for my little sister, who moved in with her BF last weekend. BF departed for a tour of duty in Afghanistan yesterday, and sis doesn't set off for her tour in Basra until late June (their housewarming party is planned for October!) so she is understandably feeling a bit lonely. Had a long chat with her on the phone last night.

Anyway must be off, need to have a shower...

    Love Rzl xx

    Morning all

Well, well well, there is a big orange thing in the sky - oh its the sun  About time we had a bit of cheery weather at last.

Been shopping this morning for some bits and bobs. Came home and made some hobnobs. Stripped the beds and they are airing before i put clean bedding on.

Hubby and son are round other son's tinkering with cars so might pop round there later to see them, DIL and DGD. Apart from that, having chinese takeaway for tea (pay day treat) and going to watch Britain's got Talent that I taped last night. Much better to fast forward all the boring bits and adverts!!! Then settle down for the final. Might watch that in its entirety as its the final.

Hugs to everyone in need and as I'm feeling generous, to those who are not too ;)

    Morning one and all,

My Opp went well even though I am in a lot of pain but at least I know this pain will get better not worse. Because of the bad state of my right arm/hand the surgeon will do the left one as soon as this one heals, so I will have the 2nd opp in 6 weeks, he said I don't have to go through the usual referals red tape. :j

I'd like to thank all of you who have sent hugs, good luck and wishes, it's lovely to be thought of by so many lovely people. Thanks for the pm's ( Pink Winged I tried to reply but your box is full)

DH will take me shopping this afternoon as I can't drive, it's always expensive when he comes along, worse than kids. Will go to Lidle as they have cheapest veg and seafood at the moment.

He has made the bed put DW on and emptied it, swept kitchen froor, washed it and was impressed with Stardrops. WM on and veg peeled for dinner to go with casserole in freezer. He is mowing the lawn now.
Bless, he keeps asking if I need anything, was tempted to ask him to peel me a grape :rotfl:

    Have a good week-end.

Smokey, JackiO, Mrs Mix, Candygirl and Penpin hope the pain eases.

    Hello all !

Lovely day ..........might even get out in the garden this afternoon and hoping ex foster lad will come up and arrange some decorative slabs he gave us so OH's veg pots look a bit tidier.
Bathroom all done and dusted, put all my christmas goodies I'm hoarding into the spare room wardrobe so now I can see the bed in the spare room.
Needed to sort out what bedding I've got for when son, girlfriend and baby grandson visit.............need to get a new double quilt it seems..........spare one a bit manky.

Have a good day and hugs (((((((((:o ))))))))) to those who need them
