The weather is nice at the moment, so hoping to do some gardening later but that really is it for today.

Lovely weather here today so a bit of pottering before work this afternoon. Sad as I am I cannot decide tonight between "I'd do anything" or "Britain's got talent". Why do they put them on together. Meat is out defrosting for the roast tomorrow and also for cold meat on Monday.
Hope you all have a great day today and a wonderfull weekend.

We are going for Britains got talent - but have to tape Dr Who for DD, she would never forgive me if we missed it!!0 -
Good Morning All!
Returned yesterday from a few relaxing (if not exactly sunny and warm) days in Norfolk. Two loads of washing on the line as we speak. Need to see hairdresser later today, also do a big shop. How does the house get untidy when we've not been here??? So, housework too! Managed to knit a jumper for DGD whilst we were away, so need to get that sewn up.
Hope all is well - no chance yet to catch up on the thread. ((HUGS)) to all who need one today.Resolution:

Morning all
Lovely sunny day here today (sorry Donny gal), so have got my bedding on the line.
I have work today, so DH has gone off to the auction on his own, heaven knows what he will come back with
I bought a salad bowl from Aldi yesterdy (£1.29), but figured out that by the time I had bought the lettuce (eaten half and thrown the rest away) and all the other ingredients, it was probably cheaper, so that with some cooked meat is lunch sorted. Dinner will be an Indian takeaway.
Not sure what to watch later, but will probably be Britains Got Talent, unless there is a good film on Sky.
Have a great day everyone xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning :hello:

Miss tru starts a new job on monday. We shopped for her new uniform yesterday, I'm going to wash it today, the shirts are a bit stiff. She whined a bit cos it's black trousers and shoes and a white shirt - just like the school uniform she thought she'd never have to wear againHer hours are 11-6 monday to friday, which she's thrilled about - in her old job (last day today) the hours changed weekly and she didn't like working weekends.
Our piggy babies are all boysWe've named the mini-baby Timmy but haven't decided on names for the others yet. We'll have to separate them from Baz soon  She's still feeding them though, not sure what to do

morning all,
Beautiful day here, got OH dirty work clothes in the wm, and will hang them out in a while.
Other than that i will have a quick tidy through then the day is mine. I have some more plants to pot up, and OH will strim the rest of the front, to deter froggies. So will potter in the garden later this afternoon, but will get little dog out for a nice walk chasing the squirrels first.
Had a good day in Portsmouth yesterday, DD and friend got several bits each, friend got mostly make up, which of course is essential when you are 13  .
We have prawn salad for tea, they were on bogof, but I might go to the local fish shop and get a crab or scallops, I love scallops but they are a rare treat as they are soooo expensive.
Congrats to Miss Tru on the new job.
Hugs to Pen pin, Mrs mix, candy, and beth x
Smoky, hope all is ok xx
Hope you all have good days xx0 -
Morning all!
Foggy here but seems to be clearing now. Got plenty of washing to stick out on line later, why oh why do my girls feel the need to change several times a day - they'll be folding and putting it all away as a lesson!
Friend arriving at lunchtime, made some nice ciabbata with olives and sun dried toms in the BM yesterday, looks lovely, can't wait to try some so will dish it up at lunchtime with some cheese and stuff I think. Kids can have some of the farm sausages I picked up with chips.
Dinner will be lasagne if i get organised and make one, don't think there's one left in the freezer, shame!
Then friend and I are off out for the night, yippee, looking forward to it!
Hope everyone has a fab day xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Redruby - Lidl's do lots of sea food in their frozen bit, don't know how good it is, but they had scallops the other day and always seem to have crab, looks fairly good value.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
