We're off the Alton Towers on 6th August for the day for of us, going to use the tetley vouchers so we only have to pay for 2 of us at full rate.

We're also staying the second day the 7th August and want to goto the Cariba Creek Waterpark, do you have any advice of how to get the cheapest tickets for this?

    Thanks

Theres one big MacDonalds, and a few Pizza Hut Express (does slices and mini pizza's) and KFC's dotted around.

I can't remember what the prices are like sadly - i have a feeling that the KFC's and McDonalds are the same as the high street versions.

I think the MacDonalds are now Burger King instead, or at least I know the one by Nemesis is.

Bunnie is right, the large McDonalds is now a Burger King.

DH has convinced me that we need to go for two days, and thus I need to sort out accommodation.

We like to camp .... can anyone recommend a campsite nearby-ish  ??

The Star Camping and Caravan park is meant to be quite good and is well recommended by several of my friends

ickleem, how long have you worked there?

I played in a band up there during the summer of 2006... we played over on the beach for a few weekends, then by the entrance under cover when it rained!

Also played in the hotel on a few occasions, and met lots of the staff (everyone was great!) would be interesting to know if you were there then?

Fallenangel152 - summer hols are really quiet busy i would say friday and monday are the busiest so i would say best goin like tue or thur :)

nellytheelephant - yes you can have disabled and 2 careers for £17.50 each, fasttrack passes maybe included if after purchasing park entry you go to guest services and see if they can give you these passes!

jbatista - mcdonalds used to be ther but now it is burger king, there is pizza hut and kfc also but be aware they are high priced than out of park!!

fingersuk - i do not work in the waterpark it is completly seperate to the actual park so i do not know prices... sorry!

izoomzoom - there is a campsite extremely close to Alton Towers called star campsite :)

JoeyG - i have worked there since 2004 (seasonal only) i didnt see any bands whilst i was there sorry!
