Very odd - Main board indicates TPA posted here yesterday... but I can't see a post????

    Is someone stealing "the post"?
  • Stuart this is such a fantastic achievment, hopefully at the start of 2012 I too will have a similar figure remaining.

Is the cat still on the mend?

By the way you were at the very bottom of page two:eek:

Honestly page58 wasn't there me Lud..... my post appeared on page 57 I promise. You gotta believe me, I'm as honest as the day is long :o

Very strange as I refreshed page twice in case I was missing it especially as it was posted the day before.

TPA how could I possibly ignore you my darling? :A

(there is that me back on your Xmas card list? :rotfl:)

Cat is now fit and well; hanging about 5kg by his teeth on the flesh of my palm when he is playing...

Funds are in a period of negative moves presently per the concerns globally, but, at least that means the scheduled investments next week should buy more units :T

Need to head to London for a one hour meeting; not happy as it takes the day to do so but it is quite important as the person is a senior one at a big international company. Still, with so much to do at work it is a bit aggravating. However, I'll be green and walk to the railway station which is about 35mins from home, which will also let me stretch my legs a bit.

Presently, I have much greater issues to deal with and the general trend has still been very positive overall since Nov 2008. My concern is if I have to realise the value of these investments due to other pressures rather than doing so at a time to suit me.

Remember, the greatest gains are made on those funds/equities bought whilst they were cheap.

Why not consider a split of funds and cash if the risk element is a concern? Hope you can find a balance between the return you want and the limit of risk you are willing to take on.

    I'm not really a risk taker. So I'm back 100% cash:o

Are you planning a holiday this year? Where you going?

SMF2 - there are some very significant events occurring in my life presently, so no planning for holiday. I will post a short message here regarding what is happening soon but in summary "money doesn't buy you happiness" and "you never know what is around the corner" are perhaps relevant for consideration.

I hope all of you will bear with me in the interim.
