Glad to hear the cat is on the mend hope the car gets better soon too. Sounds like you have to get the car fixed even if it is annoying.

Thanks for that; yes need to get vehicle fixed as it will be a "known" fault if I trade it in or sell privately and might affect insurance. Cash is of course (not so) easy come (but very) easy go, as we all know
I didn't get round to cleaning the car on Sunday, but did check tyre pessures, screenwash (mainly added concentrate to allow for less than -5°C temperatures if the cold weather for Weds is bad) and oil level. It's so easy to not do this in bad weather like we've had but all are necessary to be checked regularly.0 -
Time for another graph as the next monthly investments have just gone in; obviously this means the "profit" reduces as these are added and have not yet gained in value. Looking reasonable considering the world recession I think (as usual yellow is investment, red is value, blue is loss/profit (on right axis)):
Note how the red trend line has moved in comparison with earlier graphs and is nearing a parallel position with investments. Of course, I want the red value line to become steeper indicating stronger growth in value; maybe 2010 will do this?0 -
Wow - found my thread buried down on page 4

Hopefully all the time spent below the yellow line will bear fruition with the additional units you'll have purchased. What with the recession being over & all .......
