Ebay Scandal

I am using Google Adwords and Google Products and they both bring me much more profit than eBay. Plus Google Checkout will not charge you for the transactions if you spend certain amount of money for adverts with them.
I will shorly move from eBay shortly. They are time waisters.

OK I'll take the flack and say it.
These new changes were designed to protect buyers against those rogue sellers who consistently breach rules and under perform. I think it odd that some of those same sellers who admit to breaking rules are now trying to persuade other users that it is perfectly OK to do so, doesn't thatrather prove that ebay are right to cut out some of those sellers?
Most of the regulars here do not break rules and yet the new rules might be a danger to us as well. Because of that I can't see there being much sympathy for those sellers who are happy to break rules, and therefore caused these changes in the first place.
Changes are almost always brought in to boost ebay's profits.

Honestly.
Ebay's policy has been to make buyes have more confidence in the site. More buyers mean more people prepared to sell in the long run. Therefore keep the buyers happy and the profits will follow.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Allow me to explain.
Site becomes paypal only, extra profits.
Due to site becoming paypal only, paypal claims increase.
To combat this only sellers with 98% feedback qualify for buyer protection?
New feedback rules ensure that most sellers fall below 98%, extra profits stay safe.
All in the name of buyer protection of course."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Ebay first timers , ie buyers , at some point become sellers
vicious circle and ebay/paypal win in the end0 -
Has anyone left a "Positive Feedback" for a bad buyer, but used the "Comments" part to leave a negative message, and consequently, is this a way round the inability to warn other sellers of some buyers?
Not sure if Ebay allow this, but its just a thought.......0 -

i think there'll be a much lower conversion rate into sellers once new buyers start to see what a buyer is allowed to get away with, from their own experience. and fewer sellers who also buy a lot, as they get chucked off by Ebay/abandon ship.0 -

I refuse point blank to reward a bad buyer with a positive feedback, there is no point at all in merely increasing their feedback.
Anyway, ebay do not allow it and the feedback will be removed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
