Hi all,

Can we be added to the list please? We are getting married on 15th May 2010...

So far I have organised the Church - first meeting with the vicar tonight!
Reception is all booked and deposit paid...

I know its quite a long time away but I'm already excited about it..wondering if i'm starting planning too early but I guess you can never be too prepared can you!

Try www.greatvaluejewellery.com - they have a bunch of sister sites as well like bandsoflove.co.uk (cheesey eh?!!) which are all basically the same company but different sites. I can thoroughly reccomend them - we bought a platinum ring from them and they had great customer service which even extended as far as resizing it for us when it turned out we had ordered the wrong size (our mistake). Good prices too! The websites take a little while to work out where you are when you first look but it's well worth it.

Our snowy wedding in Canada is 3rd Feb 2009. Can't believe how quickly this year's going! Did all the groundwork for everything way back at the start of the year and have kind of forgotten all about it until now, as there was nothing more I could do until nearer the end of the year. Soon going to need to cough up the balance for everything!!

Hi ladies,

I can join you now we've actually booked it! We're getting married on 13th June 2009 - and I'm very very excited.

We've booked the registrar, ceremony venue and reception venue. Going to the reception venue next Tuesday to discuss exactly what we want, registry office next Thursday to do the paperwork bit and am off to try on a wedding dress on Saturday. I found one in my local bridal shop in the sale. £300 reduced from £500. I've bought invitations for the ceremony (immediate family only) in the Clintons sale. Cost me less than £10.

Ooh and my parents have just contributed £1500 to the fund. Thanks mum and dad!! :j

Hi Debs!
Yeah I got all excited when I was stuck in work thinking "this time tomorrow"...and this morning I said to H2B "well you won't be waking up with me this time next year" hehe.
You'll be getting married an hour and a half before I do, we're at 3.30!
Plans are going ok, I'm having a look at bridesmaids dresses at the mo. I think I've sorted chair covers and flowers, and everything else is ticking along in the background. I'm horrified at the price of a hair and beauty person coming out to the hotel but I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet as I really want somone to do my make up for me professionally...
We are getting our marriage licence on 17th Oct I think, followed by going into London to see Oasis (how romantic :rotfl:).

Anyhoo take care and keep in touch - can't believe we are the only two on the 5th!!! X
