    Hello!
I'm feeling the same...starting to get mildly stressed. I ordered my dress this weekend just gone, and I think I'll have the veil and accessories I tried on with it so that's just about sorted...Still need to sort cake, chair covers, flowers, favours and bridesmaids dresses. Thinking of going to Thailand for h'moon... x
One day I will be out of my student debt, one day...

I have, this is the one - I'll order it next week - such an impatient girlie! Can keep a hold of it then until next year so I can have it taken in, am planning to lose a stone or so but if I don't then it doesn't matter, I'm ordering the dress to fit me now

I'm *fingers crossed* a 4th of July 09 bride as well! I'm also officially the world's most disorganised bride, having finalised hardly anything! I think the only things I've got so far are my favour bags and centrepieces! Oh and a relative is doing our cake for free, yay! I know what dress and which BM dresses I'm having but haven't ordered them yet. Haven't even booked a venue yet, because we can't finalise our budget until the end of October when we'll know exactly how much we have available to spend. I'm really worried that by the time we're ready to book we won't be able to find a venue with our date availabe. And I really want the 4th of July because it'll be our 6th anniversary! Anyway, fingers crossed!

  • Same date as me Hannah! Good luck with the plans xx
  • Hi all 2009 Brides,

Well, I've not posted for a while as my partner has been made redundant :o so the wedding plans have been on hold for a while...but we decided we still needed to plan it so........ I've booked my venue and the registrar!:rotfl:

We are getting married on the 02 October 2009, at the De Vere New Place, Hampshire. :j

We are having the ceremony at 3:30pm, followed by reception drinks and photo's, BBQ and Disco. I managed some moneysaving savvy negotiating and managed to get £500 knocked off my original quote!

I have also chosen my colour scheme which will be Black and Ivory......Just 101 other things left to do LOL!

    Love Hunny x x

So sorry to hear about OH's job. That blows :(
  • We are getting married on the 13th June 2009 and it's all starting to feel real, getting a bit scary!!
So far we have booked the church, booked the reception venue and band, I ordered my dress on Saturday got it half price in the sale a my local bridal shop and I really love it:j ! Ordered my bridesmaids dresses and spoken to the florist and booked in the date. My friend is a pastry chef and she is doing the cake as a wedding present, and another friend is a hairdresses and is going to do my hair!
    So I am getting there!!
Does anyone know where I can get white gold wedding rings at a good price. The one's I like are from Goldsmiths and are about £490 each:eek:
  • Just popped in for a brief wedding planning fix.I have put the wedding planning on the backburner for now while I concentrate on organising christmas instead for a while.Wedding is not until next November so loads of time yet.I am going to try out my wedding colour scheme on the christmas table design this year, wedding flowers will be tried out at xmas too so I am having a very purple christmas instead of my usual traditional red and gold scheme.
