Morning folks, I'm back from my mega journey darn sarf and I'm shattered.

However the MSE oldstyleling way must go on and I have a whole raft of [STRIKE]rubbish[/STRIKE] really useful items that I have to stuff into my already overstuffed home.

So today I am making bread ala Panasonic styley.

    Clearing clutter.

    Freecycling like mad.

    Sorting out bills and paperwork.

    Washing clothes with vinegar.

I feel a few runs to the dump coming on and trying to think what to have for tea.

I've been hankering to make the winner of the meal for a fiver challenge so if I get my split peas into soak now, I may have a chance of getting it done.

Lovely, warm and sunny here, hope everyone is having a good day.:D

Hi everyone - just sat back down with a cuppa having done a load of paperwork - and now there's more because the postman has just been! It never ends.

CANDYGIRL - many (((hugs))) to you and your Dad. I would definitely phone the MacMillan nurses - they are wonderful.

METHERER - My last job had the same effect on me and now my ex-boss has texted me to ask if I can work for a couple of weeks in June:eek: - I've recklessly said I can if I am able to move my other self-employed work commitments around but, TBH, I wish he hadn't asked me! The thing is, I could do with the extra money so it looks like I'm doomed. The job nearly sent me round the bend which is why I left and I swore I'd never go back! Anyway, I'm waiting for another call and then I shall arrange to go in and see him to discuss pay and so on.

SHEZ - as it's the second time in two days I'd definitely complain - I can't stand it when even the people who work in these places don't know what's going on! It's obviously a management problem that needs putting right!

The weather is gorgeous today and I didn't have enough washing for a load so I can't make the most of it, plus I'm stuck indoors working - still, I hear it's meant to last a few days! I hope it's nice at the weekend when DS1 and his family have returned from Iceland - it's about 5C there!

Anyway, I'd better go and get on with something so I'll catch up with you all later.

Candygirl - bigs hugs for you. It's really hard coping with watching a loved one when they are suffering, so it's only natural to be down. You're not overreacting at all, you're a very caring person who's doing and coping with a lot.

    Hi again

Been to w**k, finished a little bit early as I had finished everything I needed to do, went to bank, paid salary cheque in then went to supermarket and spent not very much at all. :j

WM is now on and I have just e-mailed an old flame that I am still friendly with (and *only* friends with). He is off to Oz soon for a month long holiday with his family. Don't know if he will be in aussie's neck of the woods. I will warn him if he is. ;):D

Shez I would definitely complain to the store manager and e-mail the HO too. It's a bit much that you are being made to feel like a liar. Give 'em hell, girl!

Candygirl (((hugs))) to you and yours. Don't apologise for having a difficult time of it and needing to let off steam. That's what we are here for.

Hilstep Ouch!! Your poor DD. Hope the ankle starts to improve soon. (Haven't seen the dress yet. That's next on my list.)

Well, I have Will & Grace and Frasier from this morning to watch so that I can record House and Grey's Anatomy tonight - I know, I should buy extra tapes but I keep forgetting. Have a little bottle of low-alcohol wine chilling in the fridge so may put my feet up and chill this afternoon.

Bye for now. Heads off to search through Hilstep's posts to find the dress that everyone is raving about......
