:hello: Morning everyone,
Just a quick note. Don’t know if anybody else buys the cooking bacon packs from Mr M ( the pack with all the mixed up bits – great for cooking), anyway – bought some today and it is marked at £1.18 for 500g but noticed that some packs seemed heavier than others. Thought at first that some were underweight but on checking – using the fruit and veg scales – the lighter ones were 500g but there were lots that were over 700g and all marked up at the 500g weight with the £1.18 price – may be a one off but worth checking if you do plan buying some.
Will update my signature later – not looking quite so good now!!
Happy saving0 -

Hi V,
My hubby was the same at first - I did have to trick him though and put them in a white paper bag so he thought they were shop brought - what is it with men, he thought we were 'mingebagging' to put it in his words!!:rotfl: now he loves my HM Bread and rolls and helps me on my GC - I think the power of saving money overcame the need to 'look good' quite quickly, and anyway, no-one else knows...
I think Asda are still doing the milk offer, just from what someone else said earlier - I'm going to go check later and stock up quickly if they are
Also, Jamie's Bacon Pasta recipe - what's that about, sounds yummy? could you let me have the recipe please! Thanks in advance.:p

Afternoon all
I need to add another £2.06. I spent 94p on natural yoghurt, 65p on bread and 47p on a twirl
I should only need fruit and veg next week. Things will be a bit complicated as I'm moving out of my house into my parents for about 2 months before I move into my new house. Dont know what to do with my groceries. Seems a bit daft to put my tea, coffee, tomato sauce etc in storageHmmm, will have to have a think.

Hello
Just popped in very quickly to update my sig. I *may* hit the target this month (rather than going wildly over!!) so remain optimistic for the next 2 weeks.
Skintscotslass - just occurred to me on re-reading your post, do you have any groceries you could cook for your parents with? That would be a way of saying 'thanks' and also using stuff up. The rest I would take to theirs in a labelled box and just use what you canProud to be a moneysaver0
