Do you have word or something similar mumzy? Open a blank word document then go back to the recipe, highlight the bit you want, control and C, then go to your word document and control and V to paste the bit you had highlighted. Then you can save the document to print out at a later date.

HUbbles' cooking night tonight - he needed to go get some ingredients (all of them I think:rolleyes: ) and has spent about £11 (i'm not allowed to look in the bag to get the receipt as its a 'surprise' so I'll update sig later). I'm not too worried as I've managed not to buy any groceries all week:j .
Even including the parchment paper and freezer bags from Lakeland we're well in budget (about £115 I thinkk) with a week to go, although I will need to get meet for next week so its likely to be slightly more expensive. I'll do a Tesco list to be delivered Monday I think.
Need to do some baking this weekend as Hubbles keeps wandering into the kitchen, opening the empty biscuit box, sighing and coming back and throwing himself on the sofa:rotfl:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Hi everyone, it's my first post here so please be kind to me
I've just spent an hour or so reading this thread and there are some smashing people here with really good ideas.
I'm a bit late for the June challenge, as I get paid in 10 days, so as I have my Morrisons £5 voucher off a £30 spend to use on Monday, I'll count that as my last spend for the month.
I'll get the fresh fruit and veg, and lunch stuff for work, and see if there are any offers on stuff with a long date on.
I have to restock on loo roll, but I usually get a big pack of to last ages, I'll have to price check it........
I was amazed at the thread re the soap pods..........I'd never heard of them, and as I too have the soap dispenser clogging problem, I thought I'd order some. So I'd be grateful if anyone can give me any advice about using them before they arrive please?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Three no spend days in a row since stocking up on fruit on Tuesday. Have had the day off today so managed to do a bit of baking this afternoon, I made a victoria sponge for my son and two loaves of bread. I struggle with kneading as I have hand/wrist problems (probably from too much time spent on here:rolleyes:). I used my food processor to knead the bread but it really didn't like it and started to smoke. Turned it off quick and left it to cool down so hoping it works next time I want to use it. A breadmaker is definitely a must soon, even if I use it mainly for making the dough.0

Sorry to hear about the car and computer. My computer is on the blink too. Neither of the disk drives work so I can't back anything up and it makes an awful chugging noise sometimes. I'm looking at getting a laptop to replace it soon, or buying DS a new laptop and me having his. His is not up to the spec he needs for his college work, and I really only want to be able to use the internet and save my photos.0 -

I love cooking and will try most things but I really would like to purchase a bread machine, a lot of you seem to use a BM could anyone suggest one that is easy to use and produces excellent bread? I would be grateful for any advice (it has been said that Lidl has the best bread flour)
Thanks to you all0 -

Hi Barneysmom and welcome to the grocery challenge. Yes I have picked up loads of tips from this thread too, just wish I had more hours in the day to put them into practice - although if I kept off here I'm sure I'd do twice as much.0 -

Have you got a USB slot, if so you could get one of those little USB gadgets (I think they're called pen drives, or flash drives look them up on ebay) and save your stuff on that0 -
