To update my spending. Went to mrS today and spent £24.47. Mainly fruit and veg, but DH needed deoderant and the one he has wasn't on offer frown.gif. Got home with 2 of them to find he had 3 already in the cupboard angry-smiley-030.gif. Next time I'll check myself, could have not spent mearly £5 of the total!

Had a baking session this evening Made:
    3 loaves of bread
    23 iced fingers
1 x double quantity of weetabix brownies
    1 batch of twinks hobnobs
Also made up 7 portions of chicken and veg soup from the stock I did yesterday from the carcass.
Some where along the line I fitted in tea, Curry for us and pancakes for ds1,2 and 3.
Everythings on the side cooling at the moment and I'm sitting down for the first time since 3 this afternoon!!
Hope you've all had a good day

    Good Evening all,

I am hoping for my first NSD of the month tomorrow, as i need to clean and get everything ready for my mum coming on Sunday :j

I also need to try and get through my 2nd day of no smoking but without a patch on as i have none left

Does anyone have the recipe for the homemade bakewell tart? I know i have asked ealier on this week but i can't find the post for it, and also forgot to save it to my favorites

Im off to post on the no smoking thread.. I have been meaning to visit the thread since this morning but i just have not had time.

Will also be planting all my homegrown veggies into pots of thier own, now they are all grown up and ready to fly the nest by themselves :rotfl:
Thats if i get time that is.

Catch you all later everyone and Goodnight Godbless x

Evening everyone. My shopping from Mr A arrived tonight will update signature when I know the total charged. Found I had milk to use up so made loads of small yorkshire puddings and have put some aside for Sunday and froze the rest. Also made a victoria sandwich for the weekend. We are having homemade pitza tomorrow and probably chops on Sunday. Have a good weekend.

Mumzy - if you look just above the top post on the page, you will see 'Search this Thread' towards the right hand side- - in this case type in 'Bakewell tart' and it will find it for you (I would post the link, but then you'll never know if you could find it yourself ;);)

I am back and i have found the bakewell tart recipe but it says i need ground aldmonds, but i dont have any and dont want to buy any either as i want a NSD tomorrow and don't have much money to buy them with anyways, so was wondering if i could use something else instead of aldmonds or just miss the aldmonds out?

    Evening all,
can i ask what is probably an obvious question, do you include takeaways in your budget? I understand for some that this is prob a swear word but we do like to have this for a treat once a week. do some of you include this in your shopping budget? Or does it come out of another budget? I do try to be OS but we like a treat and this is it i know i'm fortunate to be able to do this so please don't shout at me, thanks
p.s. what about alcohol? or am i the only sociable drinker?

You could take the deodorant back and get a refund? Say you bought the wrong one or something.
Thanks for mentioning bread- I need to put a loaf on now- I shall go and put it on and stop watching telly.

    No spend for us today.

We had some lovely sundried tomato bread with our dinner of chicken couscous and salad.. It was yummy.

The fridge is full to overflow, so hoping to spend no money for the next week.
