You can freeze cakes/muffins/etc I think it's best to freeze them if they're not iced though.

Just thought I would mention that for years I have only frozen cakes iced with butter icing (ie butter and icing sugar) and not frozen ones with glace icing (ie water and icing sugar), then it occured to me recently that certain places that sell iced ring donuts have frozen them before they sold them, so I thought I would give it a go. So I made some fairy cakes and iced them with glace icing and froze them, and they came out fine. So it can be done!

I want to cook millies cookies again but i dont have any chochlate drops to put in them - what else could i use?

I never buy chocolate drops now as they work out quite expensive per gram. If you like plain chocolate I find the cheap own name brand Tesco and Sainsbury's chocolate is very good and its much cheaper - at around 26p (ish!!!) per 100g. I don't think their milk chocolate is so good though, but I still use it! I put an unopened bar in a sealed food bag, put it on the floor and whack it both sides with a rolling pin. (I put it on the floor as it makes a terrible noise on my work surface!)

Another non spend day for me - that's four in a row! Probably due to the fact that I have an awful cold and haven't got the energy to go shopping. Even parking outside the local shop as I drive home from work is too much effort. We are running out of bread, milk and fruit though so I will have to make the effort over the weekend.

    Evening everyone

Tonight we had chicken curry but I did an experiment. I made one lot with a lidl's korma jar and the other from scratch using a recipe on here from a few months back. I didn't tell the family which one was which and they had to vote for their favourite! Mine was very spicy and the lidl one was very nice too so the votes were equal!:j Our favourite korma comes from
Asda but unfortunately we don't have it very often as we live too far away.

The IBS tablets seem to be doing the trick and the tum is a lot better today.

Hope you all have a good weekend.
