Afternoon all. Well a teeny update or maybe a long one depending on what mood i am in!

Ds didn't get that appreticeship( local council), but college have been wanting him to do an apprenticeship in IT. He has a glowing ref from the IT dept and they are very keen for him to maybe even work there..so you never know i think it will turn out for the best.

DD2 is a happy bunny at the moment and is due to go back to college on wednesday..:j

Mr.B and i went scepetically for an account review with the bank. I thought it best in the current climate as you never know with overdraft facilities at the moment being withdrawn and whatnot. Anyway it was very positive, as Mr.B ended up with a 0% card and they saved us over £10 on our buildings and contents insurance..not even money supermarket could match it ..i looked when i got home just in case, andlooked when the renewal was up as well!..so it looks like we have probably saved quite a bit of money when he balance transfers one of his cards.:T

Nothing on the supply front for me at the moment but i am giving it a week and i am applying for a couple of other jobs which have thankfully popped up.

so plan of action is to get DS into his apprenticeship ASAP
balance transfer mr.B's card..i am thinking the remainder of Egg then they can get stuffed..
and get myself some more work!
make meal plans for the month..make a loaf ( DS likes doing that!)
Pick some more beans and courgettes.mmmmm

Back to normal then..:rotfl: :rotfl:

Who'd have thought that a review could be good..great news.
All sounds positive for your DS and DD ...also good news.

Well, thats a relief, about the review. I hope some jobs come up soon, Bob. Courgettes in the meanwhile. Nigella was doing courgette fritters on Nigella Express the other day, I thought of you...

I have been looking for a recipe on oldstyle..and they have courgette teacakes..am thinking about that one..

It is just a waiting game with supply work. I know there will be something soon.

It sounds as though things as going well in the BOB household! I'm sorry Young Boblet didn't get the first apprenticeship but the college one sounds good and could lead to a full time job later on - so go him!:j:j:j:j:j

The first one was also the wrong level as he would be level 3 not 2. He is quite chuffed now, but worried about having to go for more interviews..luckily college will help him with that as well.
