Is it the same amount of intensity as a primary school one?

I have been a mooching on the green fingered board. There is a thread there showing off plots. Lots of container gardens, have a look at them. The kids would think it was great.

I have four decent sized veg patches in my garden but one hasn't been dug over in 7 years (it will be 8 by the end of this season). The others are quite heavy (clay soil, very fertile if the weeds are anything to go by).

Last year papa managed to dig over three of the patches for me but I think this year I'm going to have to pay professionals to do it! it's the first two turnings that really get me down, after that it gets much easier to work the soil!

There was a tale about a goat on the radio today, this one was extremely fussy about what he ate. Would only have certain apples, and even rejected the Wrong bananas! :rotfl: I thought goats ate anything.

I love digging, very theraputic. You would save a fortune on veg, if you managed to get it going.

Mr. B is also quite good at the digging as well, just needs appropriate encouraging noises, and a big shiney medal at the end of it.

I have known some fussy old goats, one of my friends lives in ireland. She has two goats, one of whom regularly scoff underwear off the line.(when they escape, thier little paddock area, never knew they could climb walls!) She changed powder once, and it had a chew and then spat the item out. So she is sticking to that brand now.
Interesting creatures though, and she has made goats cheese from the milk. I had some photos of baby goats it had produced, very cute.
