I considered a 5-door grand vitara... nice car, drinks fuel. I went for the Hyundai with a 5 year warranty and every gizmo on the planet.

I get 28.7 MPG (was getting 27.4 when it was brand new in Dec, its creeping up, have no idea why?)

Make sure your next car has traction control. And 6 airbags.

Has mine not got that traction now? Its the plus model. I have air bags all round, curtain airbags I think they are called.

Um I don't live in the country I live in a big town. And we still have 4" potholes, and all the road-humps are disintergating at the leading edge turning them into curbs, and the roads flood regularly, and they are covered with debris. All I can say is: It's the 21st century... where the f*** is my flying car?

My husband moans about people who drive 4x4s in London (he works in London, he says its OK for me, because we live in the country). I say "YOU PAYS YOUR MONEY, YOU TAKES YOUR CHOICE". When other people are kind enough to buy my car for me, they can tell me what to drive:D

I've had the odd comment at work about my choice of car, but in the main Surrey is full of them & its not an anti 4x4 county, thankfully.
