Obstructive neighbour problem...

Communication is needed. Flowers sound a bit OTT but going round with a bunch and asking if you've upset here and that you didn't mean to and what can you do to sort it out.
Her behaviour sounds insane though. Deliberately blocking in viewers is mad. If she doesn't want you to leave she only has to say so...0 -
I agree with eco-friendly. I'd say I was going to rent it out as you've had discussions with others who have recommended it as a long-term investment strategy. Maybe the agent could go along with the plan and loan you a rental board.0

and by looking around any supermarket car park, you can tell that at least 50% of 4x4 drivers can't park properly
I always thought that a lobotomy was required when you bought a 4x4 (or Volvo)?;););) Perhaps this explains the observed poor parking habits?
Seriously, I would try to resolve the problem without resorting to legal means, if at all possible. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -

Or maybe just a genuine need for one
Sorry people who generalise get on my nerves. Not all 4x4 drivers are bullys or bad parkersNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0 -
I think perhaps the best course of action would be to inform your agent of the problem and try to arrange viewings when your neighbour is out!0

I drive a 4x4 which is no bigger than most family hatchbacks and gets 42mpg on a motorway run.... 45 if you drive like my mum.
I drive one cos the roads in my town are so bad they tore chunks off of my sports car... 4" potholes will destroy any car not specifically designed to handle them.
Not all 4x4 drivers are the same.
Oh, and I think civilisation is going to end as we know it and a 4x4 will be a better car to have when the riots break out....Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.0 -

I drive the shortest 4x4 (bar a Jimney or Terrios) a 3 door Grand Vitara. Bought it just before xmas, after writing my tiny toyota off on a icy country road one morning going to work (worse morning for accidents all winter in out area).
I do live in the country & its great to have a car that can cope with the pot holes & semi flooded roads in our wet summer.
I hate tailgaters, but I make a special effort more so now, not to intimadate smaller (narrower & less tall) cars.
I always park legally, drivers who park on pavements really annoy me.
I always make an effort to let people out in the morning (drivers who block roads while sitting in traffic also annoy me). If everyone let one person out, we would all get to work less stressed.0 -

I considered a 5-door grand vitara... nice car, drinks fuel. I went for the Hyundai with a 5 year warranty and every gizmo on the planet.Bought it just before xmas, after writing my tiny toyota off on a icy country road one morning going to work (worse morning for accidents all winter in out area).
Make sure your next car has traction control. And 6 airbags.I do live in the country & its great to have a car that can cope with the pot holes & semi flooded roads in our wet summer.
Um I don't live in the country I live in a big town. And we still have 4" potholes, and all the road-humps are disintergating at the leading edge turning them into curbs, and the roads flood regularly, and they are covered with debris. All I can say is: It's the 21st century... where the f*** is my flying car?Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. Sure beats learning to drive properly, taking note of road conditions.

Of course, thanks for that. The emergency services said I was the 8th call out (not the 8th accident, but the 8th one that was a 999 call out) that morning in our area before 8am.
One country road was closed off by the police, after three cars came off the road in that morning.
Once you start to go, its very hard to regain control when the road is that bad. Thankfully no other car was involved.
Did I mention I'm 40 & its my first real accident:rolleyes:0
