Yeah, but even then it's not free is it. You still have to pay for every little thing.

  • hi

We are 2 adults, a 9 year old and a cat.

    Our housekeeping was £515
Phones £55 (can include broadband service if a package and any mobile contracts you are already committed to)
Clothing £50 and that she thought was cutting it fine with a child
so i definitely think you could up all these to incorporate some of the stuff you probably won't be allowed such as alcohol, taxis(especially if you keep car and have already included £200 for travel) and holidays.

Our outgoings were £17 over our income at the point we wrote our soa however i am doing all i can to get back to work which the or recognised (allowed me to keep car).

She said we had clearly cut our spending back to the bare bone and that when i started work again i should return a new list of outgoings including all the things we left off because we couldn't afford them. Including putting up petrol allowance and clothing, adding prescriptions, dentist, opticians, haircuts, one activity for daughter (dance class) and pet insurance.

Don't forget that the or can no longer include child benefit in your income figure and you can also have £100 surplus before they take any money from you, so you can use that for stuff they disallow.

She said that it's better to put everything you can think of in your list of outgoings because they can easily ring you and say 'you can't have that' but they're not going to call and say 'you forgot to put this in or you really should have added that'.

Sorry looks like a load of writing but really hope this helps and good luckbiggrin.gif
