Mornin Y'all, I don't think I have ever posted soooo early LOL. I'm sitting here in my PJ's hugging my morning mug of rocket fuel (coffee). I too had a disturbed nights sleep. I closed the bedroom indow last night as a nod toward the fact that autumn is approaching and woke at 2am roasting hot and slept in fits and starts from them on in. Mind you, Mrs MATH's at that age where she is generating her own heat, it's like sleeping next to a nuclear reactor in meltdown. LOL

Not too much planned today, I've a trip to the tip with some old/broken garden toys in readyness for dismantling the wendy house which we bought second hand for £5, 10 years ago (it's served us well) and some paid2clicks to do but other than that not much. Tonight we are having a takaway as a birthday treat and we are already arguing over Indian v Chinese LOL. Takaways are big news if you only have two a year LOL

I remember those early Saturday morning swimming classes too Pen Pen:eek: I don't miss being dragged from my pit and plunged into other peoples urine at the crack of dawn!!!

Have a good day on and all

    Morning everyone :hello:

I've had a lie-in! :j :j After waking up at 6am every weekday, I've managed to sleep in until 7.30am! I'll see whether I can make it until 8am tomorrow.

DH and I are going to look at another house to buy this morning, after the disaster of the previous vendor pulling out   and costing us a small fortune. We'll see, but I don't think our hearts are in it at the moment.

We're going to sunny Leicester this afternoon to watch my "boys" playing. DH just has to go along with it all. :D There was uproar the other week on the forum on the team website because the coach had taken to wearing trousers  instead of his trademark shorts (so you could see his legs :D ). Afterwards, we've got a table booked at one of our favourite Indian restaurants in Leicester just as a little treat.

Anyway, I'll go and get myself sorted.

  • Morning all :hello:

Sorry, but had a decent amount of kip last night - mainly due to the fact it was my turn for poor sleep the night before :)

Me and kids are up and breakfasted and the boys are playing "quietly" i their rooms - well, they are being soldiers, indians, cybermen, daleks, racing cars .... whatever they can be to generate a lot of noise, it seems :rotfl: Doesn't matter, Mr TM won't be roused from his pit anyway!

General cleaning jobs today. I wish I could be totally organised, start one room and finish it completely before moving on ... but you know the old joke about seeing something else and just doing it, then that reminding you to do something else etc etc...... definitely me :D

Wanted to go to the library today to spend a few hours scouring their business section as I still need some help with setting up some stuff/designing some forms, and my business coach has only 'gorn orf' on holiday - AGAIN!! Tsk tsk!! :D But I seem to have promised DS1 he could go to the pics.

Anyway, BM on (cos forgot to set it o/n) DW will go on after breakfast. WM will see some action and it looks nice and sunny today too :j Tea will be leftovers from the fridge - choice of chicken curry, chilli and/or fish pie.

Have a good day everyone :)

    TM xxx

ps MATH - it's best to go swimming first thing cos the filters have had all night to clean/purify the water. It's in the evening you don't want to swim in there.

  • Good morning OS'ers :hello:

This morning has a rather autumnal feel to it - my windows have got condensation on - but I'm still not putting the heating on till October at least ;)

Got woken up this morning by the sound of something in the loft  DH is away fishing so I'll leave that little expedition till he comes home ;)

Need to clean, clean, clean today - oh and the usual washing, ironing etc etc, still with Mr Stressed away I should be able to get on with it.

    B: Toast
    L: ?
    D: Ranchero Pie

    Big squishy (((((hugs))))) to all
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

GGGRRRRRRRRRR at Vicky and TM for their lie-ins :rotfl:

I've given in to dryer usage  My neighbour had cavity wall insulation put in yesterday so I had a choice of bringing the washing in wet and clean, or dry and covered in brick dust lol. It takes ages drying in the house so I've been out to the shed and brought the dryer in.

Animals are in their runs, cages cleaned.

I'm on a tea-break. My breaks seem to get earlier every day :rotfl:

Its the first sleepover he is going to, so hope he has a good time, and DD and i will have a lovely girly evening, with make up, sweets, crisps and popcorn!!!! That, and X Factor, and what more can we girls ask for!!!!
Right, better get moving, Lots to do before football!!!!

    Morning All

Had a good lie in this morning sorry to all that didnt. Put DD in her warm PJ's last night and that seems to have done the trick with her sleeping through for now at least.

Today I have some housework to do, the WM is already on and I also need to nip into town to buy DD some slippers to encourage her to keep her socks on now the weather is cooling down. Were aiming for no heating before November so lots of layer me thinks.

Later on I have some DD free time as I'm going to the 50th aniversary party of our local Brownies. Have hunted out my old badge and some pictures which are abit  to say the least.

Tonight its the last star wars is on sky so will be watching that while munching Fajitas

    Have a good day everyone

  • :hello: Hello everyone,
I've had a really good night's sleep :D sorry to all those that didn't- I don't mean to rub it in. The only time I can't sleep is if OH is away, how pathetic is that ?

Must make some bread today. DD has to make cheese on toast as part of her hmwk (science-changes produced by heat etc) so that's lunch sorted, not that she'll eat it.
Supper is bean stew I think with damson yogurt for pud. Trying to be seasonal, frugal and low-fat all at the same time :D

    Morning all

Just had another read through yesterday's thread, thanks again for all the birthday messages.

Finished off birthday by watching last series final episode of Dr Who. Really good, I have to admit I think David Tennant is lush :p But it was really sad when Rose said goodbye on the beach, wanted to cry but didn't as was sitting next to my mum!

I have an essay to write today....though MSE is calling. Maybe I'll have a half hour browse online first.......

Hope everyone has a good day.
