  • Hi everyone,

Just caught up with last weeks/the start of this weeks threads.

Huge hugs for G&B and Pigpen.

    :hello: to Primowino.

Daisydoll- well done with painting the ceiling - it is a pain of a job...

    Serena - Happy Birthday!

Michelle - you made my toes curl - I had that problem with all 3... the only thing that I could add to the other suggestions (which you probably already know) is that if you wet your pinkie and pop it in the side of lo's mouth then it releases the suction so that you can get them to latch on again properly.

I am in this week - I will do as much as I can before DH comes home (tomorrow night :j ) after that it will be easier :rotfl: I have managed over today and yesterday to take all the excess garden waste to the coup and a couple of broken stools that were cluttering up the hall. The washing machine has been merrily going round all weekend too...

Best go sort out lunch for everyone and then make a plan...
  • Ello all im going to join in.

As i'm now a kept man i have to do the housework(maybe i should get myself a pinny) and I think this thread will be of great help .

If i do good maybe the gf will buy me something pretty to wear. :P

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of ingrained tea stains on a kitchen counter.

Thanks pigpen, feeling a bit more normal, still having the odd wobble though:o

You could try barkeepers friend which is a powder. But it does act like sand paper so gently does it.

Or star drops, we all love star drops and it's not because of fumes cos there are none, untill you mix it with vinegar, but that may just be me.

What colour is the counter and what is it made of?

I did the dishes and S&S the kitchen and made lunch. DS1 spilled juice on himself so running about in his pants, DS2 spilt teh jiuce in his lunch so will be going for a nap real soon and DS1 will be dressed and kicked out to the park.

Need to chase up speach therapist for DS2...

on a normal worktop i am a fan of domestos / flash bleach spray, it is great at getting the stains off, spray and then leave on for a while before you wipe off.

If leaving bleach on it doesn't work, use barkeeps friend or that tub of yellow stuff in Asda taht you can use on your car alloys too. Mine is all worn smooth anyway so I can use abrasives (ooohhh aint I fancy! Big word and all!)

DS2 shoved in bed, DS1 dressed after a wedgie fight (haha, I'm wearing fat-pants) decided to just have a wee :coffee: and a read at my book before I start the living room. Coffee pot is full of lovely Italian blend. Rocket fuel it is too :rotfl:
