    Morning all

Typical bank holiday weather here this morning - really really wet rain backed by a strong wind.

Was searching for something on t'internet this morning and stumbled across a blog which I'm in the middle of reading. If it's still as good as it currently is by the time I finish reading it, I'll give you the URL...

    We're in. Notice the we?

I'm on day goodness knows what of lots of days without a day off. Must be about 18 or 19. After keeping quiet and just seeing what happened last week, the kids got told on Sunday how lazy and selfish they've been. So hence the WE.

I have dinner on the stove nearly ready. Soup on the go in the SC for tomorrow. And this is what we will attempt to do tonight before bed:

Melodramatic Monday - Sitting Room of Sunshine and Hallway of Happiness
    Level One
    Wipe and water the plants
    Declutter the chairs, floor
    Level Two
Vacuum the floor now it is visible
    Level Three
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Wipe sofas and dusty places
HHC in the hallway.. sort those coats and shoes and mess!!
    Extras
Binbag dance... grab a bag fill it and fling it!
Spend 15 minutes tackling a hotspot!! - kitchen bench
Wipe the woodwork in these areas

DS 3 has just read this over my shoulder . . . with a bit of a snigger! OH has said . . haven't we done enough already . . . with a whine in his voice! I think you'd better wish me luck!

Morning ladies, I'm in again this week off to have a bath in a mo then I've got to wait in for delivery of the kids new bunkbeds, I'm a bit dubious that they will actually come today seeing as its bank holiday but that's what it said:confused: I've ordered them from Next so we shall see! Going to try and get sitting room and hallway done this morning then I'm going to take the kiddies out this avo cos they were really good yesterday whilst I was painting.

Oh and music didn't quieten down until 11.30 and then it was on really quiet but I could still hear it:mad: Thankfully it's quiet so far this mornong so I'm enjoying some peace!

Well, I've finished reading through that blog I stumbled across and I found it quite fascinating - all about life on a small farm in Oregon - some quite OS principles in there too.

Here's the link - it's worth a read if you have a couple of hours to spare

I am in, as much as I can, this week. I'm just taking bad with being away from the house so much with this working lark.. but it is money for the holidays. My goal this week is: To get the girls to take more responsibility for their own mess and to keep my living room clutter free

sorry about your loss Pigpen and GunsandBanjos (((((hugs)))))

Kids want to go into town today, but we are not going anywhere until this living room is spotless!;)

Soappie sending you calming vibes, i'm sure the french doors will look lovely when they are in.

Well think with DD and DS off it may be a struggle to get living room done as DS has deposited himself in front of the TV :o and I know there wil be blue murder the minute I turn it off to move him.

So may just wash the walls in the the kitchen readdy for painting and do the living room after dinner this evening.

DD isnt talking to me as I would not let a friend stay last night, she has stayed the last tow nigts and I know that tey will strat arguinig if they spend to muh time together. But it seems I cant d right for doing wrong.

Anyway have a good day to you all.
