Juliejim - yes, i've not been able to get on the quidco site since Wednesday. I looked on the quidco thread on here and someone had put up a link for another way to get to it which worked.

I've spent 6 hours at the allotment digging. We now have the peas, the runner beans, lettuce, onions, sweetcorn, tomatos, raddish, lettuce and beetroot in. Broccoli, brussel sprouts, caulifower and pumpkin to go in on Sunday. Can't go up there tomorrow as DH is taking the children out for the day whilst I do a bit of work and he won't be home till late (one of the few times I miss not having two cars).

Children have been fab today. They're shattered as they've now got their own bit of land at the allotment and are so much more interested. It's funny, as we drove home we drove through what is supposed to be one of the best areas in the country (Alderley Edge) and all the cool, happening people were out in the wine bars. I am so, so happy that I was covered in mud and manure and not one of them!!!

Chunky - yes, it's odd him being at home. I'm kind of getting used to it as we're at the allotment all the time with the weather being nice. I've made him promice that as soon as the weather is yuck he has to work on the house.

Time to crawl into my pit xx

Asda delivery booked for delivery between 12-2 on Sunday :D That means that will come out of next months grocery budget :D But it does mean I'll have to shift myself out of my pit on Sunday as they can turn up anytime upto an hour early as I'm so close to the store :rotfl::rotfl:

I should really head for my pit now but I think I'll do a quick tidy up and put some clean dishes away first while I watch the end of Law & Order Special Victims ;)

    hi ladies,

A day that started with some overcast clouds weatherwise has turned a bit worse personally. I am deeply down. I can't give you specifics on a public forum but what I can say publicly is that the reason I'm down is because of some unjust and really cheap and nasty comments which have been made about me on our wonderful world wide web over a particular news item.

I know I have a right to reply and all that and can respond to the comments but I really don't think it's worth it at this juncture. All any response from me would do is fuel the flames and cause more nasty comments to be published

So, I'm off to bed to curl up in a ball and hibernate for the night and then hopefully awake in the morning with a much stronger attitude and an idea of how to deal with the situation...

Dunno whats happened but I reckon sleeping on it is the best solution. That way you can formulate especially succint responses to whomever/whatever has upset you. xx

juliejim sorry I didn't get back for 8.30 but my HHC went on a bit longer, have done the first part of Q1 which is what I planned to get done, folded some more laundry which probably won't get put away for days (never know they might use it before I have to) and filled/started the DW.

Mudbath thank you for reminding me, my DS2s pea plants are now about a foot high and need transfering from their seed tray into a planter with canes etc. I think that'll be a job for tomorrow. His 2 spud plants need more soil in too.

Soappie, it must be rather frustrating that you can't vent your anger completely, but I hope you do know that we're here for you regardless. I am sure you will find the inner strength to rise above it.

I'm off for a mooch on the www before sleep time, need to relax the brain with some drivel as it's on study mode and won't switch off but too tired to do more without making mistakes.
One day I might be more organised...........
