Evening everyone.
Not much flying done today, tomorrow is going to bemy flying day. Been to see mum today and she has had a fall. She is fine though and was more concerned about getting her nicotine fix. Later went and did my meeting and greeting. I have done a quick tidy and have 1 load in the washer.
Kaz hope you are ok after your bump with the car.
Mudbath Glad to hear your thumb is getting better.
Johanne & Michelle Hugs for you both.

Just got back from the pictures with DD - we saw Indiana Jones
I must say Harrison Ford hasn't lost it
Off to put tea on, then I'm going to look at whether its worth doing an Asda order or whether I should just go down on foot with the shopping trolley and a grumpy child in tow
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Evening all
I've had a rubbish day again - working with colleague at her house, but she's a smoker, and (no offense intended) I've ended up feeling sick and a really bad headache turning into migraine so I've had to use my nasal spray! _pale_
:hello: to any newbies.
Johanne and Michelle - you're doing really well. :T
Should I be laughing? I'm feeling so rubbish DS cooked dinner (fish, chips and beans). He asked DH to dish up as his hands are not very good at times. Next thing there's a crash from the kitchen followed by f-ing and blinding from DH who had washed the kitchen floor in baked beans! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:He was not happy.:D
Still no news on the job front. I know someone else was looking but can't remember, so good luck anyway.
GP (yes, you are right, she's an absolute Star) said yesterday that she gets the idea they would be glad to get rid of her, so GK what they've said to her! I'm steaming. The best thing about my chat with the GP was the fact that she actually seems to believe me and doesn't think GF is lying, or I'm overreacting. She must do, or she wouldn't be speaking to her solicitor friend.
I'm off to watch Corrie then early bath before next Corrie and Britain's got Talent. I'm hoping I feel better in the morning coz of DD's audition, then trip to museum in Bristol with DS and GF. Her parents are dropping her off at 8.00 am coz they are going out! :mad:DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

nicki if you need enough do it online, I hate taking kids shopping! Well done for getting the assignment done.
Jamie I am on paperwork avoidance aswell. I know it'll just make it worse the longer it's left but I just can't be ***** with it at the minute.
PF I am one of the smokers on here, but I don't smoke in my own house, so no offence taken, as I've said before I am one of those annoying considerate smokers lol
Boys have been a pain in the bum all day, in fact this entire holidays DS2 has been completely awful. He's starting with a cold so don't know if that is why. DS1s got tooth ache (took me a day to find out why he kept screaming) I phoned the dentist and their answering machine stated they were closed because they only open 9am-2pm it was only 12 noon!!!! So I'll have to try again tomorrow. They've done some of their rooms, they seemed disgusted when I told them that until their rooms are tidy and they have got rid of some of the stuff they have outgrown or is broken, they aren't even using their own money for buying more toys. DS1 definately not impressed as he's a shopaholic.
I've got more studying to do tonight, once I can eventually get the boys to settle and go to bed. They're playing the best friends routine now because they have been told off for fighting, don't you just love children!
Juliejim I'll join you in a HHC but will be a study one for me, I will however be listening to the Russell Watson documentary at the same time, I like Russellyummy
One day I might be more organised...........

Don't feel I've achieved very much today - one load of towels, and DD's bedlinen washed, cleaned the cloakroom and that's about it - oh, and I did the May accounts. A day or two early, but I had half an hour spare, so thought I'd get them done.
I have spent a ridiculous amount in Sainsbury's this month, and will really have to keep that in check. I spend around £100 every Saturday, and this month an additional £110 over that - that is, extra on Saturday, and bread/milk, odds and ends during the week. Petrol was also a bit higher than budgeted for, but it seems to go up every week at the moment. On the plus side, I had a fair amount of supply work last month, and transferred quite a bit into savings, so I have enough to pay the balance for the holiday, and spending money for trip to Spain and the summer holiday. Have to keep fingers crossed that I have a bit of work for the next six weeks, as no income during the summer holiday.
I took DD downtown this afternoon so she could get her friend's birthday present, and came home with precisely nothing for myself. I will have to go down again with her sometime, as I want to buy another pair of linen trousers before our trip to Spain - just over three weeks until we go! I also want to get some quotes for redoing the cloakroom. I've been meaning to do it for ages, but just haven't had time. I've found the sort of sink unit I want fitted, but want to have it all done by one company, rather than buy all the bits myself, and have to co-ordinate tilers/plumbers/carpenters etc..
boddy - glad to hear that your mum is okay. Was she more cheerful today? I'm going to see mum tomorrow, no matter what - I've just had one thing after another this week, with DS2's toothache, and then a bad cold, and torrential rain.
Pink Fairy - yes, I reckon your GP is very much aware of the situation. I hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow. I just cannot understand the parents at all. Much as I may say I'll put the children in the boot fair on Sunday after a particularly trying day, I couldn't bear to be apart from them! Have you ever seen the film Matilda? Keeps reminding me of it.
Must go do the washing up, then that's it for this evening. I think I need to read through some copies of Ideal Home and then list them on freecycle - fling! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
