    Morning ladies....

Didn't get much flying done yesterday as I was childminding and I ached so much in the evening that I just went to bed early. Planning to do the kitchen today. DD1 has a friend to play this morning so all 3 of them have been up and down the stairs playing. They don't need me so I'll be able to get on:D

I really need to get DD1's bedroom finished as It's dragging on today so my plan for to day is to complete the lists to at least level 2 and then at least get D the walls finished and make a start on the ksirting boards in DD1's room.

Ok off to check what the kids are up to!

    :hello: Good morning everyone,
I haven't done any flying yet this week. I had a lovely day out with DD yesterday and have started to think about wedding reception etc. We had a quick look at some dresses  . Gorgeous but pricey. We have looked at Martin's wedding advice and are keen to make this as good but as frugal as we can.

I have put loads of things on e bay in the hope of raising some money. For the first time ever I have a 'watcher'! I will get myself a cuppa and read some posts before I get started on anything else. Sorry but my energy level has really dipped this week.

    Morning

I'm also flying before I even turn the computer on. I get much more done that way.
So far I done the ironing, made bread, sorted the washing and made the beds. Still got loads to do in the garden but it is too wet so I will have to find something indoors to do.
    Have a good day.

    Hiya
Soappie - you are so right. My original gynae was a man who wanted to whip it all out when I was 37. Mind you, he's also the one who told me when I was 18 that i'd never be able to have children. does that mean that the two little horrors I have here aren't mine:rotfl: !! I changed consultants and now have a lovely lady who is determined to leave the hysterectomy as long as possible though she says if I really can't manage then she would perform one. At the moment though, apart from AF coming every other week, i'm managing with paracetamol, hot water bottles, physical exercise and lots of massage, NLP etc...etc...etc. Thanks for everyone's kind words. I'm sure when / if the time comes I'll know the time is right as i've tried everything else...right now it's not the right time.

I'd best get on with my list and finding something to entertain my little monsters. Maybe I should send them to that original consultant for the week and ask him if maybe he got it wrong :rotfl: :rotfl: xx

    Morning all

I usually do my bedroom on Wednesday but the weather is rubbish so I've done the bathroom/toilet instead. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow and then I'll stip the bed. Did one load of washing and hung it upstairs.

Went through receipts bag and shredded out of date ones. Haven't bought much lately so it's quite a thin bag now ;)

Has anybody else downloaded XP service pack 3? I'm a terrible wuss with computers and scared to do anything so I've been putting it off in case it all goes horribly wrong.

Oh, and I've made cottage pie for dinner so I've just got to switch the oven on later. I know I've still done the same amount of work making it early but somehow just switching the oven on later feels like an easy meal. I know, mad.

And (keep remembering stuff) I spent half an hour on the phone to nPower listening to music (but I rang the freephone number) and price capped my tariffs until next March. Free to do it until then and I'll be surprised if the prices go down by then!

So much for not putting the computer on :o BUT my laptop arrived this morning so I decided to get stuff on here sorted then I can switch this one off for the rest of the day ;) Well thats the theory, probably not going to happen in practice! :rotfl::rotfl:

Now I'm off to get stuck in to the jobs while DD watches Spiderman, she's really tired (had to go and wake her up at 9.30!) and as a result in a bit of a bad mood, then the bad weather isn't helping so she's having a lazy day - at least the films will keep her out of trouble and I can get on. ;)

I think I'm going to strip the beds and get the bedding (and the little bit of washing there is) washed, dried and back on ASAP. ;)

Going to go and get stuck in now - just need to update the finances first.

I haven't done any flying today, even though I said I wasn't going to switch on the computer until I'd done it all.

I decided I needed to go into town this morning to get a couple of things. It's much quicker without everyone with me. If we go on a Saturday it's always a wasted trip.

I signed on for a few night school classes - meditation, yoga, patchwork.

Went and bought myself another pan. I just didn't have on big enough. I bought one which was reduced from £64 to £36.99. I know you can probably get sets for that much, but I'd rather buy one decent one which will last rather than a set of cheapies which won't.

Bought a couple of magazine holders from WHS to put my sewing mags in.

Bought some heel inserts for my shoes. I've always had flat feet, and recently my knee has been really hurting. A friend had knee problems and the doc said she would need an op, so she went to a physio who said she just needed shoe inserts and they have really helped her. As soon as I put these in my shoes I could feel the difference - the pain in my knee has gone. Well worth the £17.49  I paid for them (mind you they did have £5 off)

I'm just going to have a tidy up and quick flick round today.

Why does my 3 year old strip off entirely then complain she's cold

pigpen - you crack me up:D

have been busy this morning, but dont seem to have done much on my list.

have made a mushroom quiche though, which i had for my lunch with a salad. yummers.

made 7 jam tarts with leftover pastry, 4 gone, 3 left. i have hidden them away because the kids will fight over them.

lunch all done and dusted. washing up to do in a mo.

sausages and mash for dinner, have prepped veg already.

went back to ordering a veg box from last week (riverford) it might be a little more pricy, but i always find it forces me to be a little more adventurous with my cooking and i end up eating the amount of f &v i should be and i waste less!

have my cousin dropping in this afternoon, which is good as i rarely see her. looking forward to that!
