    Evening all,

am ready for bed but just popping in. Didn't officially do the list today but did do the kitchen after dinner, so pleased with that. Also made us both pasta for lunch at work tomorrow. Dinner was fab, one of those 'use it up from the freezer' weeks for us so tonight DH had a single portion lasagne i'd knocked up with leftovers and I had beef stew :)

anyone know how to make carbonara type sauce? I have bacon and tagliatelle for tomorrow!

mudbath - my mum had a hysterectomy before she was 40 as it was unbearable, we were only young at the time. Don't think she has regretted it for a moment.
pigpen - hope the pub helped the manflu...
julie - glad you had a good time
    soappie - windows look fab
scared - amazing re paying off your debt! more than a lot of people earn in a year!
michelle - hugs, glad it's improving

and hugs and hellos to everyone i've forgotten / not listed!

Rach, for a carbonara sauce you just fry the bacon with a bit of garlic, cook the spaghetti and when the spag's done, mix in some beaten raw egg (the heat from the spag cooks it) then lob the bacon and some 'erbs on top. v. easy

Weather is really really wet this morning (I was SOOO lucky it stayed dry yesterday) so I think I'll be leaving the dog at home today - there's nothing worse than eau de soggi doggi pervading the office! (Well, there is - and that's eau de doggi bum burp but a good spray of Oust sorts THAT out).

Have a good day ladies - I WILL fly when I get home..

    Morning all

Not much flying done yesterday as Hubbie has 2 days off so on "holiday" mode:D . Did have a driving lesson which was pants - didnt realise how nervous I was about my test next week till I got in her car today:eek: . I also had loads of dreams about it last night and a really bad nights sleep and I have got a week of this to go yet:eek:  .

    Kitchen S & S
    Hoovered through
    Made sausage rolls for lunch
    Took girls swimming
Went out for Chinese (girls scoffed loads:D )

    Todays plan is:-

Off to Matalan in Peterborough (gonna look for some prem baby clothes for DD2 dolly)
    Look for some tea shirts
Return jeans with broken zip and replace with smaller size too:j
    All go swimming this pm

    Soappie - Windows/doors look lovely.
Mudbath - Hugs - Mum went through the same thing in her 40's and ended up with a hystorectomy (sp?) she got her life back but she refused the HRT which I think a few months trying different types would have saved her lots of hot flushes, night sweats etc.
Michelle - Glad things are getting back to normal. One of my midwifes suggested rubbing a little breast milk on the nipple and letting it air dry. Breast milk is a magic cure all. DD2 had an eye infection within hours of being delivered, the stuff they said to use at the hospital made no diff. Within hours of putting drops of expressed breastmilk in it was clearing up - amazing stuff.

Right get the feeling DH wants his laptop back as getting a bit stressy - :p to him.

I've got loads to do today but I think I'm going to start with doing an online shop so I don't go out and a) spend lots of money I don't need to and b) waste time and energy dragging the kids round Mr Ts!

I managed to do 5 loads of washing before I went to bed last night - mainly the towels and bedding from the caravan - and the WM is on again this morning. I really don't want to look at the ironing pile though!

Right I'll go and have a wander over to the Tesco site and see what's on offer.

Johanne - you'll be making me blush - you're very welcome!

Hi everyone... hugs to all who need them (and even those that don't)

well I deep cleaned my kitchen at 5:30am this morning... as I came downstairs to get dd2's bottle and found a colony of ants all over the worktop/floor/sink etc

I was not amused.... I think my OH was a bit shocked at the language I used... I think I even threatened to find somewhere else to rent lol!

I have calmed down a bit now... but I am sitting at work all itchy at the thought of them building back up again while I am here

Any tips on how to rid the kitchen of the blitters before they make there way else where would be gratefully recieved!!!

right, that said i will miss the next train unless i go now. have a good day all x

    morning

I am keeping up this week with the flying, just! Working more hours because the lady I am working with has been taking into hospital with suspected twisted bowel. I am only there on supply and I am now expected to run the office, not knowing where everything is kept. Have two school trips to organise this morning, busses and all. Lovely.

Had a clean attack last night, scrubbed the kitchen, and living room and done a huge pile of ironing while watching Britain's got talent.

Better go, will try and catch up with you all later today.. Have a great day

    morning flyers!

back to being alone with the kiddies today, so lets see what sort of routine we can get started.

DS1 just sat eating toast in front of thomas. DH went to work early, but got DS1up and dressed for me, and put clothes from yesterday in the TD for me and brought socks in from TD.

i am going to set simple goals for today:
    • hoover downstairs
    • wash up breakie and lunch dishes
    • prep some veg for dinner
    • bath both boys
    • [STRIKE]shred pile of papers[/STRIKE]
    • throw dead flowers in compost
    • make jacket spuds for lunch
right - [STRIKE]starting with washing and teeth cleaning[/STRIKE]

    Michelle, x
