Mudbath - go see your GP - AF visiting so regularly is not right - and I'll join you in a glass of wine

Pigpen, I'm hoping I can pick some too long ones up cheap as a stop gap (and hem them) and then have some slow time to make my own (but I'm sorry, black satin and lace isn't quite my thing...) the actual length from the curtain rail to the floor is just under 9 feet. I've put the old ones up for modesty for those night trips to th eloo but they look ridiculous - any voyeur is going to see a lot of feet and a bit of calf but not much else :rotfl:

And I hope that when you go down the pub you're going to have either a medicinal rum and black with a touch of hot water or a whisky topped up with hot water... and then have a couple for me...

Soappie.. going to the pub is ALWAYS for medicinal purposes!! could you not let down the hems on the ones you have for and extra few inches add a strip of coordinating fabric?? I did that in the girls room.. the curtain were 2 ft too short so I tokk them down undid the hems and added 12 inches of coordinating fabric to the top and bottom. Seems a shame to have to buy new ones when you are going to redecorate and they might not match!!

And I'll do you a pic of them when they are up.. ;)

Soappie...I had an operation last year that was supposed to stop Auntie Flo completly. Instead it left me with one a month for two days which was great for me as I used to be one a week. Anyway, i've noticed the last few months they've got closer and closer together. I've been told the next step is a hysterectomy (sp?). I'm just trying to leave it as long as possible before I go for that step...i'm aiming for about 42 which gives me two more years...unless insanity prevails!!! Sorry if too much information.

Jamiedodger - sorry it's going slow xx

    *grins*

Those who are very good and do all their work (unlike Mudbath) get rewarded with virtual dog biscuits/chews/cat crunchies whatever is on offer.. but those who don't do anything (like Mudbath... and Tia.. and me) get nothing.. except a whipping with the golden feather duster of power and spanked with the golden fluffy mule.
