If a subject isn't specified then I tend to put a subject that is to do with the prize or the title of the competition as I'd hate for it to be lost in a massive inbox if they have a mail rule which automatically looks for a keyword to dump it in the right comp entry folderblackisler wrote:Comps with A B C Answers - do you give the answer as either A, B or C or do you put the actual answer eg Pink or do you put both i.e (C) Pink
Again, unless it states in the comp to just put the letter A, B or C - I tend to put C) Pink or however they have laid the answers out.
I'm sure others will be along soon with how they do itSad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out0 -

I tend to make the subject up, normally putting something like item competition (where item is the prize:D) or just putting prize draw or competition in the subjectblackisler wrote: »Comps with A B C Answers - do you give the answer as either A, B or C or do you put the actual answer eg Pink or do you put both i.e (C) Pink
TIA for any opinions!
I normally put the answer without the letter, ie, pink, dont normally bother with the letter unless its a long word and I cant be bothered to cut and paste or spell it:DWeight Loss - 102lb0 -

If that happens I imagine it would be very rarely, and only with small companies running small give-aways - bigger companies that run competitions (magazines, TV, radio etc.) should select winners in a fair and random way, because there's standards and codes of conduct to be followed. It's the reason why ITV got their wrists slapped a few months ago, because they weren't playing by the rules! xxx0 -
I may be having another dim moment but can someone tell me what the abbreviation LWE is........... I'm presuming its something to do with an email as I have seen it in some posts but just assumed they were referred to as WEMs.

Yeah i totally agree with the tickets thing, My Mum won Tickets to see girls aloud, i was too ill to go but they only arrived the night before so we couldn't post them to a friend.
If you don't want it/can't use it, or don't know someone who will, don't enter.
You are only taking the prize away from someone else.
I have no probs with the people who say they sell some of their prizes to pay for a hol that they otherwise couldn't afford, after all it's their win and they stood as much chance as anyone else, what they do with the prize is up to them. But the posts that say i won x that was a bit of a carp prize get my goat. If you think it's a bit carp don't enter.
I hate waste, whether it be competition prizes, food or vouchers.
Winning prizes you don't want is not gonna doyour comping karma any good.
Perhaps you are due 6 wins that month and you have used one up on something poo, WHY?0 -

My last name starts with a W & I think you can put your mind at rest about the alphabetical picking of winners as I don't think I would have won as much as I have if that was the case
I think it really is down to being in the comp in the first place & a massive dollop of luck!Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out0
