Yep, I agree, entering a comp for tickets/holidays you can't go to is silly. I guess that's why I'm so picky about posting the T&C's for those sorts of things (even if they're not my OP I post 'em if they're not there!).
I enter for stuff for various reasons, for my family, other family members or friends I know could use the items (like now, my best friend from school has a baby due next year, so I'm going made entering baby comps! lol! but didn't usually bother before).
Gldd to hear I'm not the only one having a 'slow' month wins wise. I'm even happy to win a dvd or something, doesn't have to be big but it's very sparse at the moment!
Toniq - thanks for the link but um, no! Are you going to email? Go on, you know you want to! I'm happy to keep comping in private not in front of the nation! LOL!

I have even started doing the Daily, Weekly and Montly comps..
I'm home all day...Its my new hobby...
My friends and family live 80 miles away...So i never get any visitors so there is nothing else to do

I look forward to the postman bringing presents

I've been very lucky so far with wins since I started and know I shouldn't complain but I like to receive my post in the morning! Anything would do! I usually average about 10/15 wins per month, so 4 is really bad!

Anyone else depressed this month?!

This has been my 1st good month for ages. I had a big win yesterday and a couple of good ones this month so far aswell. My last big win was back in January and since then each month has been slow and quiet. I was all ready for packing in at the end of this month but i'm having a re-think!

This has been my first month comping doing about 100 a day and not won a thing is there something wrong with my name??? or is it just that I am not lucky??

Silly me - I was wondering whether my low win rate is cos my surname is very near the end of the alphabet ?? You know, when they randomly pick out the winner, they probably plump for someone in the middle of the alphabet.

Anybody else have a theory on this ?

Well my maiden name is near the end of the alphabet (starts with a V) & I won a few bits back then but now I'm a C I've won loads. Can't see if making a different tbh though???

Well, it's probably my overactive imagination, but when Postie only brings bills yet again, I imagine some bored office worker sitting there with her long list of competition winners and she (or he, to be PC) waves her pen in the air, ticks a few random names and has picked the winner(s) before she ever gets to the W's.
