If they do go, would it be okay to have a few weeks notice so I could catch up?

They may well stay, but I'm sure that if they were to go there would be a warning :)

At the risk of stepping away from my usual 'don't get involved' stance, I'm having an uncharacteristic moody moment! (altogether now.... AWWWWWW)

Having seen some of the posts over the last week or so on the 'I Won' thread I am getting slightly irked.

People winning tickets to see acts they don't even like, or for events that are too far away from them or people complaining that they have won something they can't use/is cr*p!! The list goes on & on.

 So here is my solution - DON'T ENTER THEN!!!!

Ok rant over... as you were!
The Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word! :D
  • Totally agree with that Rock Chick, I still feel really worked up about the tickets I won on Monday. I would never have entered if I knew it would have ended up like that :(

Ive stopped venturing over there now partly cos of that, only venture over when notice my name being mentioned:D

I dont enter for things I cant use, the things I have got that I cant use have been runner up prizes but that doesnt happen all that often.

I dont enter for tickets unless they are for theatre/show and have accommodation with them

  • I stopped using the comps ending list regularly about 3 weeks ago and just entered what I wanted to here and there.

I have now bitten the bullet and started to go through all the comps pages from page 1 (I have sorted them by thread start date, think I got that tip from VelvetGloves comping guide!) and have got to page 24 only 190 ish to go... .

I realised it makes no difference whether I comp from lists or this way - in fact I am probably better off in the long run, as this way I don't miss any that have ended early. It's going to take me a while to be up to date, but this is a hobby for me & I enjoy doing it - Winning is not everything (but it does help!)

I am interested to see if I win more by doing comps as they are posted or by using the lists - I shall let you know my findings in a few weeks...hopefully from barbados after winning the £25k GMTV one next week:rotfl:

I agree but sometimes life gets in the way so I would much rather see people giving them to others than the tickets getting wasted. :)
