I actually just want a decision to be made. People on here are just going round in circles. Preaching to the converted comes to mind.

I don't think anyone is preaching, just giving opinions. Surely that's a good thing? And, if everyone was 'converted' the problem wouldn't exist in the first place...We're just having a discussion, that's all. We all know it's out of our hands.

I will say though - I doubt the boards will ever go back to how they were in the good old days. Boards move forward and evolve, not necessarily for the best. I think there is too much ill feeling around for things to just be swept under the carpet and forgotten about. If it's not these lists it will be something else.

Yes, boards are bound to change but if the one thing that's causing the problem can be stopped, there's every chance that people will just carry on as they were before. It's worth a try IMO. If they stay, who's gonna take charge, cos I don't see a rush of volunteers?

Anyway, I'm not meaning to be confrontational or owt, got to go and cook tea. I usually keep my gob shut - the whole shebang doesn't really affect me. I'm just sympathising with the folks who've got upset with it all cos I don't like to see that. :)
    Probably playing on fb :o

Why have you deleted most of your posts peej? I suspect that's what's messed up the post counts here and in the Inn - it's confused a few people who work out where they were up to by post #

*Edit* This now looks completely random and off topic. Peej had posted just above me, but has now deleted yet another post. Has been quoted in mj38's post below if anyone wants to see what was written

Aahhhh! Thanks Cheeky! My numbering has been messed up for the last few days & I couldn't put my finger on it :D I think she found the Al mac button :D

I can rest easy now that I don't have an obscure form of comping post number dyslexia :rotfl:
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

All I'm going to say is 'thank you' :money:

To be quite blunt I've given up caring if people think I'm being polite or not, I try to make all my posts as polite as possible whilst still showing people the 'rules' of these threads but still apparently I'm 'slating' people - get real!

What's annoying me at the moment is all the 'well I like it early' or 'don't know why we have that rule' etc etc. The fact is we had bedlam a while ago so the rules were made, now that people are ignoring the 'rules' the threads will be pulled (if after all this they are NOT pulled I will be very surprised!) I don't care if you like/want the list early or if you don't know why that rule is in place the fact is the rule is there for a reason & to be quite frank if you don't like it b*gger off else where

nice and friendly attitude for someone who wants this forum to all get on and be a nice friendly place to chat. sort of contradcited yourself there.

and tbh with attitudes like that I dont know why ppl would want to use this forum and im sure martin and bfg wouldnt want you telling ppl to b*gger off, i would have thought theyd want as many member as possible. you get clicks on all forums and ive left several for having a mind of my own and really dont want this place going the same way

All Princess said in that statement is the rules need to be taken notice of and that because they are often ignored it causes trouble. If you're finding it hard to see that then thats your problem, no need to make her look bad just for saying what she thinks  .

I think this should just be left now, its turning into a stupid arguement, theres nothing we can do so lets just leave it to the BGs rather than all of us trying to prove other people wrong non stop.. don't worry, be happy

What's wrong with having the lists posted early? It's great.. the night can be spent doing other things then.

Am I missing something? Are there rules somewhere about it. I really don't understand.

I think it was something which was agreed between the forum and BGs because it was getting a bit mixed up when comps ending lists were posted early. Maybe someone thats been comping longer than me can clear it up though.

As far as I know they agreed the lists could stay on the condition that people stuck to the rules.... so something obviously needs to be sorted whatever happens.
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:
