Wow loads of things bug me. Expensive weddings. That`s a biggy. I used to play in bands and I remember one reception we played for. All the big church ceremony, typical wedding. Bride ran off with her newly found brother in law a week later!

I seriously hope that she at least had the good grace to return the presents to the people who had bought them!

When DH's kids stay with us they leave everything on. TV on all day just blaring out rubbish noone is watching, I drive them mad probably but keeping saying "Are you watching this?" and then turning it off. It soon goes back on again. Their bedroom lights get left on whilst they sleep, make DH go round and turn them off. Landing light stays on, we never normally use it at all. (maybe I should take the bulb out!). Computer left on even when they go out. The list just goes on and on. Grrr. I know I'm a bit obsessed about turning everything off but I feel all my hard work goes out the window in one weekend. Their Mum is worse off than we are, think I know why!

Maybe all kids are like this anyway, I don't know!

Another waste related bug bear of mine is DH and food. I'm a vegan and he's a meat eater but he can't be bothered to try and use stuff that's left over, I do nag him and try and cook stuff without waste but he's still a nightmare. Mind you we have the best fed dog in our area!

    Think that's enough for now!

I don't understand why people use a tumble dryer when a clothes airer or washing line does the same job for free and doesn't have the environmental impact.
Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!

Couldn't agree more, I'm trying to convert my OH to this one.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

I just went into Tesco and the guy in front of me bought some chilled stuff.....amongst it was a ready meal that was on BOGOF but he only bought one......the cashier pointed it out to him and told him he could have another one free and he said "nah, won't bother"

If I had been braver I would have said "I'll have it then" but I wasn't :o

True Hypno, but is that better than taking the meal, not eating it and it ending up in landfill?

It was just really the way he said it....his attitude was that it wasn't worth the hassle of going and getting a second one, rather than something that wouldn't be used.

I still would like to have been brave enough to say "I'll have it"!!!!!

I have been trying to get my OH (and my son now he's older) NOT to fill the kettle to the max for a cup of tea or coffee. I have been on at my OH for 20 years now & he still thinks its a petty issue.
